The musical interplay of Allie and Cuan is exceptionally impressive. With their expressive voices and virtuoso guitar skills, the two brilliantly succeed in coherently reflecting the emotions of "Unchained Melody". You can feel the close musical connection between the two artists, who create a fascinating kaleidoscope of emotions here. Sometimes they sing and play with tender intimacy, then again with passionate fervour. Particularly outstanding is the moment when Allie sings "are you still mine" and Cuan looks at her with obvious amazement. Allie and Cuan take the audience through the different facets of this timeless love song. Their interpretation is characterised by musical devotion and sensitivity. Vocally and instrumentally, they are masters at getting the song's message across. This performance is an impressive example of Allie and Cuan's talent to touch people through music. They make "Unchained Melody" a magical listening experience full of emotion and harmony. Their version remains unforgettable. 🎤🎸🎤🎸❤
@Music.Lover124 Жыл бұрын
The song "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers, which Allie and Cuan interpret so sensitively with their boundlessly powerful and deeply emotional voices, accompanied by their virtuously played guitars, is about a deep longing for love and connection that endures even across spatial separations. The lyrics express the emotional highs and lows of a love relationship and emphasise the undying and everlasting nature of true love. *The melody and Allie's soulful rendition give the song an outstanding quality, embodying both longing and hope.* "Unchained Melody" is a classic that can touch the hearts of listeners and transport them to a world of intense emotions.

The phrasing is what struck me
@mcgalen4 жыл бұрын
For us non-musical people, what do you mean here by “moving phrasing”?
@lynnedelacy28414 жыл бұрын
@mcgalen it’s the way there are slight subtle pauses between words or phrases It’s a bit like the difference between a poem being read as monotone and read with meaning, pausing briefly for effect after certain passages and injecting the right level of passion. Listen to how she sings the few opening lines, its the phrasing that pulls the heart strings
@JnTmarie4 жыл бұрын
mcgalen phrasing is the speed and grouping, of the words and where there are pauses. It now a days includes runs which, At only age 12-13 years old she has a very unique and sophisticated style. Her instincts seem so natural. Unchained melody she expressed so much emotion. With her phrasing and the breaks in her voice.

At the end of the video, when Cuan answers an audience member's question by saying he and Allie had performed together once (only ONCE!!) before, I could feel my jaw drop. I've heard this song millions of times growing up in my household and I have to say, you two did this song justice. This song means more to me than most people considering who my dad is "Phil Spector" and it always touches my heart when I hear the young ones of today sing his songs from long ago. The best of luck with your music.
