Watch how two railway bridges were replaced in Belgium

Two railway bridges were removed in one weekend over the Albert Canal in Belgium; this project was done to improve the infrastructure for inland shipping and create more capacity for maritime traffic around the port of Antwerp.

I don't know if this is the first time SPMTs have been on barges like that but it is my first exposure to the idea; it is elegant.

There are lots of video's where Mammoet is using SPMTs and barges to place this structures over water. Saerens is the only other company in the world who can do this.
