TOP MEN’S NEW ARRIVAL - JUSTIN’S PICK
Rolex Milgauss ref 116400
Justin’s pick of the week is an early-production example of the Rolex Milgauss 116400 produced between 2008 and 2009. The collection was famously re-released in 2007 after a decades-long retirement. As you might recall, the series was recently discontinued yet again, which has made the Milgauss something of a cult favorite among die-hard collectors.
Rolex released three editions of the watch during the Milgauss’ revival in 2007: a black dial model with a green sapphire crystal, a white dial with a clear crystal, and the black dial and clear crystal iteration featured in this video. Rolex famously discontinued the black and white dial models outfitted with clear crystals long before the series was ushered back into retirement in 2023.
The Halloween connection is on the nose, featuring a black dial decorated with Super-LumiNova batons topped with orange squares and the collection’s iconic orange lightning bolt seconds hand. Still, it exudes a level of elegance that is suitable year-round.

TOP WOMEN’S NEW ARRIVAL - EMILY’S PICK
Rolex Presidential Day-Date ref 18078
“Barked” watches are distinguished by a unique textured finish that resembles, you guessed it, tree bark. This design element is often featured on the center links or bezel of the watch and is common on Day-Date watches produced between the 1970s and 1980s. Barked watches are prized for their inherently retro aesthetic and unique texture.
The warm tones of the rare wood dial on this edition of the Rolex Day-Date are perfect for Halloween or fall. Additionally, the unique wooden grain complements the barked bezel and bracelet nicely, giving the watch immense character and dimension. The diamonds mirroring the index hour markers are just the icing on the cake.

TOP VINTAGE NEW ARRIVAL - BRANDON’S PICK
Vintage Rolex Submariner 16800
Next, we have another stunning black and orange watch, but this time, the “pumpkin” colored hour markers result from a deep patina acquired over decades instead of an intentional design element like Justin’s Milgauss.
This watch is a transitional Rolex responsible for introducing the series to the sapphire crystal and an updated movement with a Quickset date. Additionally, early-production models featured a similar matte dial as the predecessor ref 1680 before it was upgraded to the later-production glossy dials.
This example was produced in the mid-1980s and sports a sharp, glossy black dial decorated with Tritium in white gold surrounds. The Tritium material has since aged to a deep orangey-pumpkin color, perfect for spooky season.
