So, I think at least educated people should avoid discussion on the uttarkand, where it's about Sita going to the forest and all of that. One very valid reason to believe that the 7th kand isn't original is; In all six kand, the characterization of Ram is that of "purushottam", the best of the man. He doesn't believe in caste as he eats the tasted fruits from Shabari. His respect for women and love for his wife is unquestionable. Suddenly in the 7th kand he turns evil?
