Finance Minister Nrimala Sitharaman in her Rajya Sabha speech on the 'Indian Constitution' quoted an exceprt on the emergency imposed in 1975 from a book authored by Granville Austin, 'Working a Democratic Constitution' and said that Cong's Jairam Ramesh ignored this chapter. Jairam Ramesh with the book in his hand said that "Don't read selectively" and quoted the entire section from the book.
