Both Branson and Bezos have built toys with a lot of flash and ego sizzles but little practical use and, at the very best, a murky path to future development. Do not anticipate future development from either Branson's high tech kite or Bezos' updated Mercury capsule. If you can't go orbital, you can't do squat.

@@hayaglamazonluxe not the point. its a meh accomplishment at best built off of decades of real astronauts achievements. this is a glorified amusement ride and not worth the money they want to charge. glad they are doing it, get all BS out of the way and figure out how to reduce costs and make it a longer and more space like trip.

@@hayaglamazonluxe no jealousy, I'm actually sad for both of them as they dreamed of going to space, and this wasnt that and you would think since it's their money, company and ship....they would have made it.....more. I am happy for funk as it's the closest she's ever gotten, but it's neither pushing mankind forward nor cheap enough for everyone. The fact that this was the best the civilian market could do is a joke and quite frankly an embarrassment of our technical progression.

So M Fisher, how many non-whites were involved in engineering and building the ship, working out the propulsion requirements, developing the nav systems, installing telemetry, etc. Are they all white as well and how do you know?
