Katrina is very classy. Everyone has put her down by making fun of her acting skills etc but yet she always kept her peace and politeness. You have to put your foot down at some point. People criticising her for her accent should stop now. Even sridevi faced the same problem. Her acting is very natural. If we see her initial movies where her dialogues were covered by dubbing artist she nailed them. The reality is she is just stunningly beautiful, a fantastic dancer, very hardworking, seems personable fun and warm and has a fantastic figure she’s maintained for years. While those qualities are remarkable it’s not enough to be an actual actor who’s taken seriously. It will only get you lead roles in Bollywood in formulaic shallow commercial films banking on looks but not those requiring strong acting abilities. She frankly cannot act very well at all which is why those who work with her who cannot honestly praise skills she doesn’t have. It clearly stings they’re being blunt rude but honest in each clip. She is for the most part adorable and very mesmerizing on screen looks wise but her lack of natural expressions and deficit of skills are unbearable in most films and I’ve watched several. Before her injections she really was flawless and truly a knockout. She seems like a delightful person and I think she’s great just as eye candy supporting roles or in dance numbers that she absolutely nails each time, but not as the main character - she just doesn’t have the acting presence. She should take more acting classes to improve because she has everything else in spades.

How is asking to remove hair from mic patriarchal and not logical? Infact keeping the hair in front despite issues with functionality, only to look the way women are conditioned to look in a patriarchal world (the current beauty standards)... that's more likely to be classified as disempowering. If we want to respect Katrina's freedom of choice of keeping the hair in front, we should also respect amir's freedom of speech to give his opinion freely... It wasn't a patriarchal suggestion

I think it’s a case of Aamir not needing to have an opinion at that time. If Katrina was comfortable with where the mic was and she’s the one who’s going to talk into it, Aamir didn’t need to insist otherwise (not saying his intention was to be rude). He needed to mind his own business - nothing to with freedom of speech. Same would apply if it was the other way round too

Having opinions is fine and natural. It's the perception that one needs to always be giving their opinion, whether it is required or not, that can come across as rude, obnoxious or patronizing (not saying that was Aamir's intent). Katrina is a veteran in front of the camera, of course she can understand and decide what she should do with her hair/ mic.

Katrina is awesome in all respects, and those who criticize her acting in general don’t have the eyes or soul to see where she’s coming from which is far more important to connect with audiences at deeper level than superficial aspect of perfect pronunciation. Acting is about believability and she does that in all her movies with the amount of hardwork, talent & dedication she puts in! Doesn’t hurt that she looks like Miss World either! Love you, Katrina! When she first came into Bollywood Her acting was terrible and I didn’t like her at all, then she guest appeared in a reality show for promotion of ZNMD. Her personality changed my perspective about her completely… since then I appreciate her for her hard working and her growth in acting performances…

Oh really?? She had all the time and tutors in the world, but she didn’t even care to learn the language for so many years in beginning and it was later on when she started giving a little importance to the language in which her career was based.
