It was graduation weekend. Probably had three too many after a long year and she was taken in with little resistance. I’m not going to call someone a horrible person just because of one drunken bad night. Save the judgment for actual ppl who are doing bad things to harm others.

She has dementia. She's been able to mask up until now but the drinking pulled off the mask. That's why they let her take community service and then quietly retire. She's been scrubbed from the school's website. I suppose the lesson is, if you're starting to lose it go out on your own before everybody knows.

They could have arrested her just for mis-using 911. They then could have arrested her because they had enough evidence plus her own words that she had just driven drunk. Finally they cuffed her for public intox/disorderly just because they knew she was about to drive herself home. Way too many chances.

Did she insist on a breathalyzer to prove she wasn’t intoxicated? I mean to insist on driving home, she should have insisted on taking the breathalyzer to prove her point if she had one. Having a Tesla that can drive itself is no excuse to get in the car while intoxicated my goodness and she is a professor?

She requested that but the responding officers did not have a breathalyzer with them. The full video shows her ridiculous behavior and her denying their repeated requests for her to call someone for a ride. Every reasonable request was met with arguing.
