Difference is, Reeves has the smoking gun, that proves Hunt submitted fraudulent accounts to Parliament and the OBR. So this isn't a 'both-sides' issue. The Tories hid the damage of their policies, while telling the public all their commitments had been paid for. Hunt should be suspended from Parliament, recalled by his constituents, thrown out of office, arrested, charged, tried, and jailed.

The salary of a doctor in the UK prior to the pay deal just agreed ranged from £33,000 for a first year doctor to £143,000. Hardly poverty levels. The first thing that this Labour government does is to scrap the cold weather payment to pensioners whose income is above approx £10,000 and award the doctors a 20% increase over 2 years. I am not a Tory voter and do believe our doctors should be well paid but this seems an abominable decision to endanger the heath of pensioners on the margins. This will cause misery for millions of pensioners and the resultant impact on their health is not known. This is particularly true of pensioners in the North of England, Northern Ireland and Scotland who enjoy winter temperatures much lower than those who live in the South and for much longer periods of the year. All very well to keep these payments for those on pension credit but that is a very low bar.
