Some of these committee members are truly interested in spending their five minutes asking great questions while others only want to bloviate on and on and on for some time campaigning. We can see who really gives a crap about getting to the bottom of this.

Trust me, what you’re seeing isn’t nearly as bad as it usually is. 99% of the time, Democrats spend their time calling republicans racist and denigrating them. Go back and watch the border crisis hearings. It’s obvious the Democrats are just trying to distract from the issue and deflect any responsibility from their side of the aisle.

That has been ALLLLL of these hearing. Especially the FBI one. The SS Director one was okay, there was definitely some political rants… but that FBI one was so disappointing it was RIDICULOUS. 90% of it was about election politics. From both sides. America sees this and they aren’t impressed.

The SS director was worse, instead of finding what the cause of this disgusting failure was, they instead wanted to continue to beat the continuous dead horse of the AR-15 and abolishing the 2nd Amendment because we all know that once law abiding citizens no longer have guns and only the criminals that couldn't care less about any laws already are the only ones with firearms, then AND ONLY THEN will there NEVER be another law abiding citizen injured do to gun violence (that....this will blow everyone's mind....was ONLY being done by criminals and people who didn't respect or follow laws to begin with) but those criminals are just going to finally say they give up and since guns wouldn't be legal they will give them up and quit using them since the playing field wouldn't be even anymore. The politicians that want to get rid of the one right in the amendment that says SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED, they should have to be protected by agents that ONLY carry sticks....no firearms for their protection at all.

Right?! I am not from the U.S. but if i was i'd definitely be taking notes here about who behaves how here! And that goes for both sides btw. I am a leftie and super anti gun but congresspersons using these hearings to talk about gun control was so misplaced imo. Very offputting, very stupid. Short comment by ONE congressperson "When posing the question 'How could this happen?' Let's not forget about the gun control aspect here.", done. People right now are eager to know the aspects of what happened -at the scene-, not about any background dynamics and will only react annoyed to this.

Let the record show: AR15s are one of many SEMI-automatic rifles that fire a variety of chambered rounds; HOWEVER, SEMI-automatic rifles are not the “weapons of war” used on military battlefields, because they can only function according to the SEMI-automatic functioning firing sequence system. And anything used as an assault weapon is an assault weapon, therefore we must also have a total ban on any martial arts training school, baseballs, baseball bats, hammers, knives, pitchforks, gardening tools, chainsaws, etc. and any and all such “weapons of war” that can all be used as “assault weapons.” Like I said, any weapons used to assault others is therefore an assault weapon by definition.

And if they’re *actually* doing stuff so illegal they end up in prison then they get what they get… HOWEVER, it becomes totally different when the charges being brought against someone are literally being brought by people in illegal offices that were made up out of thin air JUST so they could charge him with something. They literally had to drop the charges bc they made up an office that wasn’t even legal so they could charge him! THEY should be convicted! Are you kidding me?! This was a pretty useless 4 hrs. Paris is basically pushing off blame to the Secret Service rather than owning any incompetence. The Secret Service is basically blaming state and local law enforcement. these separate hearings are useless - we need the heads of each to appear together for questioning. As this is playing out, it appears that each are not wanting to claim any responsibility for their incompetence -- their reluctance to own their failures is causing a breeding ground for conspiracies. Or was there a conspiracy and incompetence is being used as cover? we will never know. this will all die down and everyone will forget.... just as soon as the politicians have extracted every bit of political points to serve themselves and all the wile, let everyone off the hook.

Sounds like secret service assigned the butler county ESU to cover that building and placed 2 snipers in those windows to cover the roof. The question is, why were they pulled to search for a “suspicious individual” (as they mentioned, there were at least 4 suspicious individuals identified) why would you leave that roof exposed to find some dude wandering with a range finder? That’s on the local department or the individuals that left their post. Next, why did no one see someone climbing onto a roof with a rifle? How did he get a rifle from his vehicle to the roof without being seen? Why was he only identified as being a threat seconds before getting in position and firing? What were the rules of engagement of the ESU officers? 😊

@g4rceguy435 2 ай бұрын
In his investigation, where the Army Inspector General was tasked to investigate the Army's testing methods (testing the M14, the AR-15 and the AK-47), the Inspector General found that the Army testers were biased toward the M14. The Army clearly favored the M14, even though its rounds were larger/heavier. Soldiers being equipped with the AR-15 were able to carry twice the amount of rounds. For this and various other reasons the Air Force clearly favored the AR-15. Field tests conducted by the ARVN demonstrated that their AR-15s could muster overwhelming firepower when facing enemies being equipped with AK-47s. Basically, it was a battle between big-round and small-round advocates within the US military. Eventually, and after modifications, the redesigned AR-15 was renamed and adopted as M16, without forward assist in the Air Force and with forward assist in the Army and other branches. The model name AR-15 was then used for civilian and LEO versions, where the civilian versions lost the select-fire functionality and the interoperability with the military rifle.

The biggest problem is the counter snipers providing oversight of the roof left their post. If they had stayed the could have seen the shooter with his gun. Then could have taken him out from 15 to 20 feet away. Communication may have been an issue but leaving your post is a crime and unforgivable. Unless someone in command told them to leave their post. If so who why and those who told them to leave their post commited a crime and should be held accountable.

Why is their no one asking questions about the outside perimeter? All of the questions should be asked about the outside perimeter

Thankfully MTG isn't the expert investigator she thinks she is, pressing her "timeline" as factual and worthy of being included in the investigation points out that she knows nothing about actual legal proceedings or forensics, you don't take your information from just wherever you can get it and then sit up there and act like youhave all the information from your position of power and use it if you can force someone out of there job like you did yesterday. For some reason, maybe it's because a man sitting there in uniform is who she was up against, she allowed him to speak more than two seconds before interrupting with some absurd conspiracy theory laden tirade. You wanna see how justice work in Trump's world? Just look at MTG and the likes of her.

@@obama-xi1ysthere was a ladder, he bought it the day before. The police officer climbed the ladder. The shooter pointed his gun at him. The officer climbed back down off the ladder. I don't know what happened to it but there was a ladder. He bought it near the Same time he bought the ammunition. If there was no ladder, many people lied. No one can answer the question of when he put the ladder there. Maybe the same time he was scoping the place with his drone.

if crooks turned to point the riffle at the officer, wouldn't the officer been where the ladder use by crook was located? if so, why didn't the officer use the ladder instead of being boosted up by another officer??? videos shown from the far side of the building filing crook on the roof shows no officers being lifted to the roof, which means it must of happen on the opposite side of the building closer to crook where the ladder was right?

let me get this straight, the officers on a roof, left there post on the roof, to search for a suspect on the ground. thats seems to be odd, when they had a building full off officers. thats a horrible excuse.
