I’m glad JJ got the job.. ex player and knows the X’s and O’s… semi shooting coach as well😂😂 tired of the same old coaches getting passed around

jj has a brilliant NBA IQ, he has so much upside I see a lot Riley in him, he looks the part and I love his personality, didn't care at all F-Bombing the female reporter.

JJ sounds really impressive he reminds me of Riley in his demeanor not saying he will be successful as Riley but he has a high basketball ball IQ, I think Laker fans need to have a open mind and don’t listen to the negative sports media that we live in 😎

What is the difference between being "supportive" vs. being "involved?"
@Wick98763 ай бұрын
It's the difference between "I trust you guys, you've got this" and "yeah, he's interesting. Where does that leave the other guy". The third alternative would be feeling pushed out of the process and unhappy.

Hey Pelinka here’s a hint you want this to work then trade away the diva that got rid of the young core and that couldn’t work with the previous 4 coaches. If you’re too dumb to figure out who it is it’s Lebron James

@@DEIONSANDERSCOLORADOFAMILY21 who’s firing themselves? I want Reddick to workout Lebron is the main problem and this team isn’t going forward as long as he’s still here.

From a guy who has never managed a time out. Led a roster, disciplined a knucklehead or load managed. NBA is more than Xs and Os especially if Bron is really the boss on the bench. Calling Coach K for help once Bron throws him under the bus. It sounds good, it won’t be pretty.

You had your mind made up on this before the press conference started 😂
@PensFan353 ай бұрын
That’s true and I agree with you that this fit will be made or broken by the players response to JJ as a person. But I will also say that being a former player helps in this case. Time will tell.

U crazy if u don’t think being a critical part of teams for 15 years let’s u watch and be a part of everything u listed. Not to mention. That’s why u hire a good staff around u. U kinda sound like a hater. Maybe I’m wrong. You’d be more accurate saying he doesn’t have experience with off the court stuff. Cause everything u listed off is on the court related.
@nw71333 ай бұрын
Yes bc even Darvin Hams and all the previous Laker press conferences for years have sounded positive and mushy with a vision for the future. Gotta show me before you tell me with this guy.

I worry about Pelinka’s GM duties compiling a roster that mirrors success over hiring a good head coach. Rob has made many terrible decisions with the Lakers roster
@renelopez53283 ай бұрын
I agree brother but if somehow they can stay healthy, they just can't stay healthy and it's been a major issue.
