Born and raised in Washington State, the only time i've spent outside of this state was when i served in the Military. Bob and Jay inslee have been the absolute worst things that have happened to this state. They've been by far one of the most radical state Government's in our Union. They experiment with far left policies that even most democrats don't agree with and it's the residents of this state that pay the price for it. We all do. I don't Recognize Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, basically any of our major Cities anymore. They've devolved into lawless drug dens. There's NO level of crisis that seems able to snap these idiots out of it. They'd rather watch Washington Burn to the ground than admit some basic truths. That society needs SOME LAWS. Criminals DO NEED to Spend time in jail. It's safer for society - People are getting assaulted and robbed... and the justice system in this state just LETS THEM GO. Puts them back on the street to reoffend. Washington went from a Safe and wonderful place to raise a family to a DANGEROUS place that even adults need to keep their heads on a swivel... We cannot accept this as the norm. I'm so sick of Democrats voting party line even when it's destroying our own communities. You CAN vote for a Republican... Break this cycle... Reichart is about as Moderate as it gets in this type of political climate... Please for the love of crap... Do not give Bob a chance to make things worse.

My wife was hit by a hit and run driver in Seattle. Both my kids were in the car and my daughter suffered an injury. The Local police office, despite being given pictures of the culprit, license plates, and witness accounts, have never done a thing. In fact, they say they can't.

One thing I like about Dave Reichert is that he is passionate about making Washington State a better place to live. I have seen the decline in the Washington State infrastructure in the last 50 + years. Our roads and highways are turning into potholes damaging the vehicles that are driving on them. I worked for the Seattle Highway Department when I was 18, replacing guardrail and picking up trash on the freeway. Never did I see such homelessness and trash then in the last 30+years. I also worked for the railroad, and helped build homes from 1995-2000. I have also taken the Puget Sound ferry's since the late 60's and have seen a terrible decline and loss of revenue in the ferry system. We must build up our infrastructures and be prepared to avoid any disaster that comes our way, but we're not doing anything. Give the power back to the people. They are the ones that have built this country and know what is best for it.

crime is directly associated with homelessness which is directly attributable to the decriminalization of drugs, the release of violent criminals after repeated arrests which is a direct result of bad policy and changes in our criminal laws by our legislature which Bob Ferguson supported. He also went after police charging them with crimes when local prosecutors chose not to charge, they did not ask him to charge the officers, that was a political attack. the reason we do not have enough police is your open animosity towards police and the fact that they do not believe the are supported by our political leaders. They are leaving and few others are looking towards policing in Washington as a career to replace them. When I hired there were hundreds I was competing with, now they are desperate to find qualified people for the job.

I always laugh when people, like Sideshow Bob, tried to correlate gun laws to the "can't yell fire" laws. There is absolutely NOTHING hat stops you from yelling fire in a theater, but there is a law that says you will be punished. By apply the Democrat's approach to gun control to preventing yelling fire would be like cutting everyone's tongue out so you couldn't yell it. The homeless need to be forcibly transferred to their own island where they can do as they please. I think all law-abiding citizens in all west coast states are sick of the mess they’ve made, and want something drastic done. It used to be that big cities had parades of fire trucks drive down the city core and hose down sidewalks every morning to clear out the rabble. Why aren’t we doing that anymore?
