Seriously could you have imagined what it would have been like if he had actually had representation? It probably would have been relatively close to the same thing and they would have started the actual trial and then he wouldn't have been able to rant like he did when representing himself so he would have probably ended up firing them anyway.

Hi Law & Crime. Can you please please please create a playlist of all the Waukesha trial recordings in order on your site & on KZbin? All the pretrial hearings are titled the same & its realty difficult to find which is first since there are no dates on anything & the recordings are all mixed up on your video list. This is an excellent trial for psychology, medical, law, law enforcement & other students to study & most of your recordings are very good for that so will probably be accessed a lot over years. Some of the early pretrial ones have dreadful audio though - it’s way too quiet, so if you can do anything to fix that, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 😊

Sadly it allows him to traumatize his victims because she has no control what he may or may not say. Most attorney's would have a "filter " over their comments. He is a sick disgusting individual! I am not sure what the ramifications are for a "fair trial" if he says/does things that would get lawyers disbarred or defendants removed from a courtroom. If he continually does or says things, can she remove him and hold him in contempt of court and allow the proceedings to move forward? If not, I am sure that is what he plans to do so he can try to get a "mistrial"

Judge Dorow is not just exceptionally patient with Brooks, but she does an excellent job of not letting his horrific crime, his misbehaviour, his arrogance & obnoxiousness affect the way she treats him. Even during the trial when she obviously gets extremely frustrated with his attempts to taint the jury with his SovCitiot 💩, she still manages to rein it in & treat him with courtesy, respect & reasonableness. I wish she was a Federal Supreme Court Judge & hope she is appointed one day, as even though she was initially appointed by a Republican to one of her roles, I think she might actually be able to remain impartial & not become a political pawn like most of the current FSC judges.

This is the last time he gets to make his own decisions about his own life. If you knew you would be behind bars for the rest of your life, wouldn’t you want to make some decisions for yourself? The phrase “Sovereign Citizen” is an oxymoron. I think the CIA brainwashed those people because they were ripe to actually change their status. The status I assume they’re shooting for is “Non-Citizen/U.S National” which is a status approved by the “Secretary of State” only to people who have the wherewithal to understand the process and implications. Technically a status applied to a passport indicated by 5 stars. The status informs non-Federal Law Enforcement via the LexisNexis system that the individual being entered into the system is on a “do not detain list”. Thus the National isn’t subject under the “discretion” of an officer and shall be free from involuntary detention, the subject may only be “Under Arrest” for a “Crime”. Any non-Criminal Statute,Code,Infraction,Policy, or ordinance cannot be PC for involuntary detainment. Fortunately they’re still subject to enforcement of every law, statute, code, policy, and infraction but, they cannot be involuntarily detained unless it’s “criminal” causing injury. Once their “do not detain” status is apparent they MUST be free to go and the onus is on the “Law Enforcement” to give citations or summons within consensual/voluntary “proper service of process” This passport status was intended but not limited to people born or living within the territory of the of the United States but aren’t a Citizen of any of the several States. This would include Washington D.C, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa and so on. The unforeseen implication is that ANYONE can formally renounce their citizenship and still be a U.S. National. Resulting in certain immunities related to jurisdiction powers. The Idea was that any National non citizen traveling between territories of the U.S would be protected from the discriminative undue scrutiny and involuntary investigative detention related to their non-citizens status while still retaining the benefits,Rights, and protections a U.S Citizen would be afforded. Obviously such a legal status was poised to be appropriated and exploited by legally affluent people although it’s perfectly legal. At some point in time people became privy to this and would alter their status to retroactively and systematically remove themselves from Jurisdictions that had already established criminal or civil cases against that person. “Perfectly Legal” yet it alerted some concerns about the implication. So they added a questionnaire to the application of renunciation of Citizenship as a deterrent, “what is your purpose/reason for the change of status?” Although its a shall honor declaration answering the question however has no effect. For the people who acquired this status it became apparent they’re 1 bad apple away from having this law amended to be “may honor” at the discretion of the Secretary of State and subject to background checks. So they don’t showboat or brag they Gate-Keep this process. Someone at some point witnessed a sovereign U.S National flex their immunities for clout, thus the ridiculous “Sovereign Citizen” movement was born, seasoned with a generous amount of disinformation and misdirection by what I would assume to be CIA assets they have curtailed significantly the mass exodus of U.S citizenship. Now we have layman persona’s who believe that they can just informally declare that status whilst mischaracterizing the status as being a “sovereign citizen” in a ultimate display of irony.

I haven't read all the comments, but I can't believe the judge allowed the guy to represent himself, with all the interruptions he made & altering the document from "I understand..." to "I have been informed." He's not going to know what language or procedures are appropriate in court. He'll be begging for an attorney, and it may be too late.

I actually feel sorry for the judge and - of course - for the victims and their families. If any of the families of victims or anyone who suffered because of this are reading, I'm very sorry for your loss. As far as I can tell, the guy is completely nuts. I mean, I don't know if he's clinically ill or something. I wouldn't be able to say. However, I think it's quite obvious that he's wired to the moon generally or certainly some wavelength that is very far from normal. To those of you who were affected by this - you and your loved ones were clearly in the wrong place at the wrong time. I know it probably doesn't help and I know it probably doesn't make sense but I just wanted to give you my take on this. We live in a random, chaotic and sometimes cruel world. My advice would be, try not to torture yourself by looking for any rational reason behind all this. You won't find one. We must assume (and we do!) that those who died are in a state of happiness and peace. I hope you get your justice and I send all of you my very best - all the way from sunny Scotland. I am so sorry for your loss.
