The only time I saw him show any actual emotion was when he or someone else was talking about HIM-During his opening and closing statements and while his mother, grandmother and friend were speaking at his sentencing. Since he is representing himself, if she holds him in contempt, the trial has to be paused because you cannot have ex parte proceedings. He has the right to question the witnesses against him under the 6th Amendment. No one likes how he's doing it, but it has to be done. Still, he's such a narcist, he just felt SOOO awesome. I honestly think that he believed he was winning. He was trying to discredit the witnesses by arguing they weren't actually parties (well duh, they were witnesses) and then trying to insinuate they were just trying to get money by filing claims. I was just thinking that today, too. Poor guy probably needs a vacay, just as the judge and prosecutors (and jury) will!

This is plain torture having to front such a monster, and for him to have that continued power over victims through intimidating questioning. This self representation that allows this confronting situation, shouldn't be allowed.

The constitution allows for you to be able to confront your accuser. But the judge is there to keep the accused in line.
@elhurricane17062 жыл бұрын
While I understand what you're saying, it would require a revamp of the constitution, and would involve taking away the right of the accused of facing their accuser. Not sure that's a good idea.

@@theoryofpersonality1420 you should do more reading. 🤨 I'm not going to hold your hand, you're a big boy/girl and can go find the info yourself. You're absolutely and laughably wrong.

He’s such an egomaniac that he doesn’t realize the judge is commending is cross to limit possibility of an appeal/mistrial. Seeing him laughing toward the end, like he thinks he’s a real attorney is just an insult to anyone with a JD and a bar license in the state of Wisconsin. 🙄

My hats off to all the witnesses for not just calling him out. These witnesses proved what true strength and will is. Great respect for them. Great love. May they find peace and keep love in their hearts and minds.

The father of the little boy who was killed showed so much courage and strength in front of his child’s murderer. I have the sense that he didn’t want to give that piece of garbage the satisfaction of his tears. I don’t know how he held it together as well as he did 😢

The cross examination of Detective Carpenter is excruciating. Does Brooks believe that video surveillance footage spoils over time like milk? This jury should get a lifetime exemption from jury duty after sitting through this trial!

He really had the nerve to ask the dance teacher if she knew what would’ve caused her to have her first blackout the moment she saw his vehicle coming towards her dancers! He’s such a POS!

Shout out to the judge for her tremendous amount of patience for putting up with this POS.

@ 8:09 he can’t even imagine someone being so concerned with others that they put their personal needs 2nd. She waited to get medical attention because she knew the hospitals would be overwhelmed with more serious injuries. That is called compassion

This guy is a real Einstein! After he mowed a bunch of human bowling pins down, he fled his vehicle and ran to a house with Christmas lights and a Ring doorbell that captured everything.
