He reminds me of that one kid who's mom never said no, spent bill money to get him e everything he wanted, told him he was the best at everything and if he got into trouble it was because of the other kid. His only twin sister died and he pays respect to her by shooting at her son, who was there to bail him out once again? The mom and grandmother of the victim. Not disagreeing just trying to understand by the bigger picture. But it's over the top frustrating to watch absolutely. And she also knows one that 50 min rant, was to get him worn down before they started and seeing if it worked, plus the prosecution had time to prepare a great retraction to it. Love the moments around the 3:08:40 mark when the officer explains all the different ways Brooks could have exited the parade route if he would have just stopped and listened to the police stationed there. So ridiculous that DB even tries to suggest that he "couldn't get out" because there were barricades in the way--so he couldn't go through barricades, but he could barrel into humans?? And as the witness pointed out, he DID go through the barricades at the very end to escape. 6:03:11 I love the cheeky smile from sue hopper when the defendant has the witness point who she is. You can’t help but feel how absurd the cross examination is.

I've taken a shot every time I've heard the word objection for the past hour! I just saw a little pink elephant run across the room and it stopped and yelled " hearsay"!

Objection….when did you find out it was an elephant?
@eirenmist122 жыл бұрын
Witness: The first elephant I saw was pink. Prosecutor: Did you say the initial elephant you saw was pink? Brooks: Objection, your Honor! The witness didn't say "initial." He said, "first!" Judge: Initial means first, Mr. Brooks. 🙄 Brooks: For the record, was that a "tacket" judgement, your Honor? The jury has a right to know.

I think the craziest thing about this trial is he really thinks shaving his head and his face and denying his name is Darrell brooks is going to get him somewhere like When he objects to someone calling him by his name it astounds me that people are putting up with us clown show he’s doing like the only reason why he wanted to defend himself is for attention.
@Shadow-pn3sp2 жыл бұрын
It's becuz he's claiming he's a sovereign citizen....little does he know, if his name is on a birth certificate, he's not a sovereign citizen. You don't just get to claim sovereign when you're in trouble. Not when you've been using Darryl Brooks for 40yrs. Smh...which is why NOBODY is taking his sovereign claim seriously.

@@Shadow-pn3sp I just feel bad for everyone in this trial , they are wasting their time putting up with this “man” when you can obviously see how stressed and annoyed everyone is with him.

Just curious… has anyone else been screaming “Mr. Brooks, STFU!!!” from their couch on behalf of the judge or is it just me? My goodness he just won’t stop!!!

He's an infuriating little weasel who tries to win by collapsing people thru exhaustion. Judge Dorow is up for sainthood for not giving in and pushing through to justice for the victims and families of Waukesha. The State didn't give in either! 9:33 I do like spicy judge Dorow here saying "just bc you think it's the law doesn't make it so!"

At around the 5:30:00 mark Brooks really shows off his unbridled and unrestrained anger. He’s glaring at the judge like he wants to kill her. If he can’t control himself while the jury is in the room, what is he like when he’s mad at his girlfriend, his kid, or behind the wheel of a vehicle?

@@jeffreytrian955 he's shackled by the ankles to something under the table. it's why the prosecutors can't walk around the courtroom either - they don't want the jurors to see him in shackles. personally as a juror I'd want to know he was secured while I was there!!
