And the number one thing that you need to remember to do as a nail technician is to trim your clients nails before you put a new set on and I don’t see you doing that and I’m wearing nails myself since I was 15 years old so I don’t understand why you don’t do that but teach their own

I love ❤ the time she takes to prep ... she's thorough that's for sure and she does beautiful. The only thing I'm not diggin is the thickness... they're too thick for my taste but we - not my nails lol. I just prefer the tips of my nails to be thin- when I do have them done 😉

Please don’t use your thumb to remove the excess acrylic and gel polish from the sides of the nail 😢 Over time, it causes contact allergies due to overexposure to uncured product. Dermatologists and nail experts have been warning about it for a while now (you can look it up if you’re curious 🤓). Please don’t cut your nail career short by developing an allergy! 💗 x

This was helpful to watch. I’m also starting to see techs take the residual acrylic off with their thumb. I’m going to try that. It seems to take lesser time than using the brush.

Make sure ur using a gloved finger. Repeated and prolonged exposure to uncured products can eventually lead to contact dermatitis

Yes, definitely use a gloved finger. Very bad habit to get in to. If you develop an allergy your nail career and nail enhancement wearing days are over.

This was an amazing set and you did an awesome job! Please start wearing gloves when touching the polymer beads and polishes. I'm noticing quite a few techs developing allergies out having to leave the field because of over exposure.
