It can be u overheat at e the resin at the same spot for too Long that cause the lightning look.

If i wanted to make a tray similar to this but instead of making a resin bowl like you did can i use a hard plastic bowl in the resin? Will it stay in the resin once it’s dried? There is a really cute bowl i want to add to my tray that i want to make im just not sure if it will stick since the bowl is not resin and it’s not being fully submerged in the resin

It should be fine as long as the bottom of it is submerged in a layer of resin

Double check your ratio and/or make sure you are mixing it thoroughly for 3 to 5 minutes prior to use.

I had the same problem so I started using a kitchen scale and that plus scraping the cups and mixing well solved the problem!

Okay hopefully you will see this comment I have the same resin that you have linked and I used liquid pigments that I got from Amazon and I've never had a problem with my UV resin curing but I've been waiting almost 10 days now and they are still sticky and soft I can't even get them out of the mold is there any way to save this

You may have added too much pigment?

I had a similar situation. Get what you can out and then pour some two part resin. Let it cure and it can help clean it out. Also, tape.

What I do is mix very slowly for up to 8 minutes and and then let it sit for a few minutes for the bubbles to rise to the top and pop on their own. You can also take a lighter to the top of your resin and quickly go over it to pop bubbles. Hope that helps! I'm also a resin artist and have problems with bubbles all the time!
