I agree about how easy gel is to use. I wore, and used on clients, acrylic for many, many years. Gel is so much easier, feels so much lighter on the hand and allows you to grow your own nails out rather than removing an acrylic set every couple months and re-doing the whole set. I love that you do a slip layer, too. I've talked to other nail techs about gel, if they have trouble with flooding and have told them to use a "slip layer", I flash cure mine for 10 seconds, and how it keeps the gel right where it's supposed to be. Little hacks like that make such a huge difference!

I’ve been have problems with foil adhesion but I think my problem is solved with the buffing first then applying foil glue. I love watching your videos! The troubleshooting tips and the results at the end are so satisfying. Ty

I have been fussing with the foil transfer gel for forever. I have this brand and one by wavegel. I'm at the point where I just accept the "distress" look. And if it bothers me I will fill in or add a small corresponding design (dots or lines) using similar colors of the foil. Cute look as usual!! thanks for sharing.

I just finished a Gorgeous Set... IBD Builder Gel over Long Square French White Tips...(my 2 ring fingers are black tips)... Self taught... I LOVE Buulder Gel over Tips... Takes some practice but I do love it.... My nails look thin for long nails but my stress points have a very strong structure. I too love your Vids!!

Question, with the hard gel product I notice it only can be filed off...I’m not good with using my E-file could hard gel successfully be removed by hand filing? I use soak off gel product but, it’s a difference in its stability. Also, I’m not a nail technician - I do my own nails at home self taught from videos such as yours. I got tired of paying so much money on designs and bling at nail salons....I love glitter and bling on my nails 🤗. Thank you for sharing and doing such beautiful work!

I just used the Gel Bottle Inc Rubber Base. I cleansed the nail plate with acetone before I applied it but I didn’t leave any step/primer info out (this time lol).
