The three ball method adds the appropriate natural looking apex. A giant apex is not necessary. Plus the c curve tips add strength by their shape as you said. Beautiful set!

How long should someone take when doing nails on clients? some say three hours some say no more then 45 mins to an 1hr. but i take three hours because i like things perfect. Or at least close to perfect as i can get them

It depends on what kind of set your doing. If it’s something with detailed gel work, 3D flowers, etc then those sets would probably take at least an hour longer as opposed to a French tip set or something

Take all the time you need tbh. Rather clean and looking good than rushed. It usually takes me 3 hours max. Don’t let anyone rush you and know you’re worth and time

From client's perspective, I'd say take as much time as you need. I'd prefer you do a great job than rush and I have to come back for a fix or correction. I admit, I'd probably have an issue if you take 3 hrs to do a full set with a simple color or French.
