Well rockets drive themselves these days so not much training required. Bob and Doug who went on SpaceX capsule didnt actually do anything, it was all automated. Technically a civilian could have gone

Calling them astronauts is a joke. They were no more than passengers in a commercial jet. They just sat there.

People, it was not a rough landing. When it gets to 6 feet before the ground a booster deploys and lands softly. It only looks rough because they landed in dirt and the dirt puffs out but it wasn’t from hitting the ground to hard

I give it a 9 out of 10. Would have been a ten if someone had put a gag on the female announcer.

Who saw the drone at 2:23? There are a lot of haters out there because it was Jeff, but let’s all be honest with each other…..if any of us had his money and the ability to do this, I’m sure we would be doing it too. At least I would. Hard for me to hate on a guy that was smart enough to start a huge empire and make billions.

Drouge chutes deployed at 6,000' & main chutes at around 3,000.' Not much room for error incase of partial chute malfunction...as happened to Apollo 15. Granted, they're not dealing with high re-entry speeds, but dang...that's low.

Why there is no live footage of jeff inside the capsule up in the space? The footage where the capsule landed on the earth and the one from which jeff is coming out of it are two different takes.. In capsule footage was produced and released way after the event "happened"

Historic moment is a crock of bull. My heroes are the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo astronauts not some rich oligarch in a toy Buck Rodgers rocket that just skims the upper most atmosphere! They didn't get into space they just skimmed the very upper atmosphere for only ten minutes, not even the same as John Glenn in his Mercury Friendship seven capsule that orbited the earth 3 times in four hours and 56 minutes. So, there was no honorable contribution to mankind in Bezos Buck Rodgers ride! To show his gratitude Bezos should raise his employee's salary to 50 dollars and hour, pay them a month in vacation leave every year, and provide them with free quality health insurance. Let them have a Union. Get the employees decent restrooms at their work places. Which can be done for way, way, way less than building a Buck Rodgers rocket that's not large enough to get into space

I'm glad it was a successful launch and that he (and the crew) made it back safe! When they were at the Edge of space, I hope they were able to look back and see the Earth 🌎 so once and for all, they can squash the ridiculous notion that the Earth is flat! LOL 😅

Anyone who believes the Earth is flat is an idiot. My thought is if the Earth was flat why is the Sun coming up at different times across the United States. Sunrise in California is 4 hours later than sunrise on the east coast. Here in Ohio the north star is 41 degrees above level. Here in Canton Ohio the latitude is 40.8 N degrees.
