My issue is the pastors are teaching themselves more than the word of God. They should teach to point us all towards God. Then pastors talk about other pastors, and God's people are everywhere. The Holy Spirit lets you know if the preacher is getting off, but the people worship the preach instead of God. It is frustrating. When all you want to do is fellowship with your spiritual family. Prophet Lovy is awesome.

I have trouble reading scripture because reading written words is not a natural way of hearing a message. Thank God that the Bible states faith comes though "hearing". I get much more understanding from hearing someone recall the accounts and I can build a picture of what is happening.

There is a difference between Word and Scripture; Word is God's power (Christ). Scripture is a map or compass to get to Jesus.. Meditate on the Word until it comes alive in you . Meditation builds a fuller picture of the story and by it we gain understanding. Meditation leads to revelation stop rote reading of the word a mental exercise and all the rules we read and keep in mind, obscure the real life transforming truth of God. keep the word in your heart- bind this word on your heart - out of the heart flow issues of life! My belief on how God truly sees me, and who and whose I am in Christ is transforming more and more. I was so messed up in the way I believed from Pentecostal upbringing.
