His subjects in his region along with the Central and Nothern senatoral zones voted overwhelmingly for LP and Peter Obi. 80% of voters in his state decry the fraud of the Presidential election. This man decided to go stand in his chair for BAT to beckon to him to sit down. He calls it support for the president. Very disappointing. One of his forefathers, Oba Ovonranwen, did better even in defeat to a coalition of Yerima-Hausa foot soldiers welding British fire guns. He should have sat in his Palace and speak truth to power. But he needs money and Federal influence against the governor of his State who is in a different party.

*Those too young and have been fooled by IPOB to be their Obideints recruit should read the story of Anthony Onyearugbulem from Imo state versus the Oba of Benin. It was this same Igbo emotional character of insulting everyone including elders that led to the end of the road for Onyearugbulem. He was the only Igbo military governor posted to Edo state, and he was the one that let Igbo emotional arrogance destroy him. Other tribes had military governors posted to Edo state who threaded with caution and respected the traditional institution. But Onyearugbulen, the only Igbo posted to that state ended up messing himself up and having to destroy his family. Also you guys should remember that Ojukwu lost Biafra war even before it started simply because he invaded and captured the Palace of the Oba of Benin, appointed Igbo man to be in charge of MidWest and the Oba palace, and the Oba was forced to escape into exile to meet Gowon in Lagos to ask for military help to reclaim MidWest and the Oba Palace from Ojukwu. It was that day in August 1967 that Ojukwu was cursed with the madness that led him to his self-destruction and wasting of over 100,000 Igbo lives before fleeing into exile as a mere coward to save his life.*

@@josephezimora8995 Which Igbo is rich in naija? Here in Lagos, mention one Igbo that is rich. Last time I checked there is no Igbo among the top 10 richest Nigerian. Rich people are the ones contributing to development of Lagos and there is no Igbo among the rich people in naija. You are living in your own reality where Igbo is rich in your mind, which unfortunate is not the reality in Nigeria where Igbos are economic migrants and hustlers in other states. Rich people live and develop their own place just like Dangote did in Kano, Otedola, Adenuga, Alakija, etc did in the SW. Maybe what you call wealth of Igbos which is to be migrants and hustlers in other regions is exactly what we are not interested in. No Yoruba or Hausa/Fulani can boast of being rich when he is a migrant and hustler in another region. We are only rich when we live, set up business that will develop our own region.

The display of stupidity by some Nigerians is beyond me. However Tinubu emerged is inconsequential to the extent that he is constitutionally recognized as the president. Those that felt the process was rigged are in court to seek redresss. The court will make its decision, and whatever that will be is going to be accepted. I do not understand the constant resort to insults. Peter Obi was my preference and I am in support of his legal contest against the outcome of the election, which is the right thing to do. The individuals who resort to insulting everyone and anyone who has a different opinion, political preference other than theirs and who seek to rightly relate with the president is disgusting. These are the same people who cost Pete Obi the presidency with their stupidity and hate for anything other than PO. They insult the cultural, social and religious sensitivity of other people and tribes. They disrespect the cultural, religious, and political icons from other regions. And they expect support and empathy for their cause. This attitude of theirs is only going to fuel resentment against them. If you choose isolationism as a political strategy and you think it will advance your cause, then good for you. But other people or regions do reserve the right to choose to engage the levers of power to negotiate and extract value for themselves and regions. One thing is clear which is that you cannot negotiate and extract value by isolation. You cannot access power by isolation in a heterogeneous society with varying interests. You engage, negotiate and trade-off where necessary to get what you want. You cannot on your own and by yourselves alone access power.

I pitied some of you people from Edo, Delta and CrossRiver that wasted your votes on Peter Obi. Maybe you people are too young not to have read your history and find out about the MidWest invasion of 1967. Igbos are not democratic people and are also not diplomatic or political, they only capture, conquer and rule. This is why every Igbo tells you that Obi is coming to SAVE you. That if you do not vote Obi to SAVE you then you prefer to suffer. It is a conqueror mentality. It is also the reason Obi said he does not need political structure to win. Political structure would mean power negotiation and lobbying with lots of tribes, which is considered sign of weakness in Igbo culture. Igbos only conquer and rule, they don't lobby politically for power! They succeeded in conquering some of you guys from SS, but thank God the wiser and politically smatter people of the North and SW understood the Igbos better, so they rejected Peter Obi massively.
