The last duel reminded me of the one 5D's episode where Yusei finds Kalin alive after the Dark Signers arc, in the middle of nowhere in a small town in the desert and ends up teaming with him to take down the famous OTK duelist of the town (forgot if he was the sheriff or bad guy) cause in all his duels, he went second, and his opening hand (+ his draw) always "miraculously" consisted of one effect monster and 5 spell/traps and the monsters' effect was something around the lines of send any number of face down spell/trap cards and deal 800 damage to opponent for each one sent to the GY. But of course, Yusei being the protag, was able to beat his OTK with fucking effect veiler. Weird plotline for small arc with Kalin but as we can see in this duel, there was no protag

It would be like showcasing an Exodia FTK deck with the "unexpected" inclusion of Into The Void, Upstart Goblin, One Day of Peace, etc. There wasn't a single goddamn card they played that Trickstars don't use in most versions of the deck all the fucking time.
