Watch people react to photos of animal testing for cosmetics

It’s easy to ignore the ugly realities of the beauty industry when we don’t have to face what goes on behind closed doors at labs and testing facilities all over the world. In this video, we show some brave volunteers a series of photos that highlight the regular and frequent procedures done to bunnies, guinea pigs, mice, rats and many other helpless creatures every single day.
We know that watching animals suffer is hard, and it’s even harder to feel like there’s nothing you can do. That’s why we’ve set up a series of ways to reach out and contact your local lawmakers to help put an end to this needless and cruel process.

MrAnitaChiquita weird tough how both companies still use animals products in their ingredients... so sad.. animals have to be tortured for milk / honey. Bees are gassed, cows are raped then the baby is stolen from them just to use their milk. I’d support them so much more if they went vegan!

Alexis Rose the body shop uses almond based milks. the honey is sustainably sourced from Beza Mar in Ethiopia. It comes from the UNESCO Sheka Forest Biosphere Reserve, where we’ve worked with the ‘bee whisperers’ of Beza Mar since 2009. They’re a cooperative dedicated to improving the livelihood of beekeeping communities and maintaining their traditional techniques. The beekeepers gently blow clouds of smoke into the hives to collect the distinctively floral, richly moisturising honeycombs, which are made from the golden nectar of wild flowers found in the Afromontane rainforest. Our trade helps support the sustainable use of these forests by providing a steady income for locals and empowering them to preserve wild African bees, which are vital to our planet. The body shops work with these people help protect the wild African bee population.....

In my country it is absolutely illegal to use animals for experiments with makeup. There is a type of fluid that gets used, it reacts the same like human skin and no animal or person gets harmed :)

Meanwhile, I'm an 18 year old woman, who never used cosmetics and never bothered to buy one. Because what's the point? Impressing your future lover? Sexual baiting because you have such a pretty face, smooth skin and a typical sexy woman stereotype look? Is that a goal for truly insecure women? Most of these beauty and refreshment products were tested on animals. Real living animals have to be in cages and live with their whole lives as test subjects to check if the chemicals are okay.
