Watch: PM Modi tears up during farewell speech to Ghulam Nabi Azad

Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave an emotional farewell to Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad who retires on 15th of February. PM Modi said that it will be very difficult for his successor to live up to the standard of work that Azad has done. PM said that while he has been a very strong leader of his party, he cared equally for the country and even the proceedings of the house. Prime Minister Modi also narrated an incident when pilgrims from Gujarat had been attacked by terrorists. PM Modi said that Azad could not hold back his tears and he was worried for everyone like they were members of his own family. Watch the full video for all the details.

Actually the present govt's poor diplomatic strategies are ruining India's strategic positions in a number of issues. Even Nepal has dared to lock horns with us. Srilanka has become an open ally of China. Iran is getting farther from us. Which means we are potentially getting surrounded by foes on all sides. These are all huge concerns for India. The present govt is spending huge amounts to the best PR agencies,Ad agencies and organised IT cell to stay popular. The same way we have been believing that, Horlicks makes us taller, the same way we believe Dairy Milk is a 'special' gift, the same way we believe Maggie is healthy. Not just that, China has been colonising these developing countries, by debt trap and if we fail even to hold our soft power upper hand, then these countries would act as buffer zones for China's attacks/transgression towards India. Regarding farmers and local industries, there isn't any visible growth in any of the two in the past nearly 7 years. Public sector disinvestment is done on huge losses. It is only a very few less than 1% capitalists that are getting any good in the last few years. The common man is either unable or is lazy to look deep into the numbers driven chest thumbing of the govt on 'growth'. The govt knows this very well. This is why they deceive us by unsubstantiated figures and fancy budgets. And after startup india and make in India initiatives were launched, the unemployment rate in India has been declining each year till covid. Look up World bank's rankings. India has been steadily increasing its rank since Modi came into power. Rupee has also been doing much better than 7 years before. That article you mentioned just shows the downsides. If it wasn't for BJP's demonetisation, property prices would have been skyrocketing and corruption was at its peak. He has been successful in digitisation saving time for many of us and easily qualifies as one of the most successful leaders this country has seen.
