He was the greatest musician/artist in the world. Tributes to him have come from all genres since he died - punk, heavy metal, jazz, classic rock, pop, even theatre. He influenced all musicians everywhere in the world. But more importantly for me, on top of all that, HE WAS A GOOD HUMAN BEING.. He should be remembered for that just as much as his music. In 1983, there was a song on the 1999 album called Lady Cab Driver. In that song, there is a line where he says he wishes he was he was born like his brother, handsome and tall or something like that. As an undergraduate at the University of Michigan I dated a young lady who was a junior in high school. Although I was older, she was wise beyond her years. It was 1978 and she had a poster of a long haired guy in her room. When I asked who was the person on the wall she told me, "Prince". That was the first time I had seen or heard about Prince. She then played "Soft and Wet" for me on the turntable. I have been a Prince fan ever since.

I was just a kid when he was making such amazing music...but, here I'm on the brink of turning 38 and his music speaks to me on a soul level. Forgive me for my astrology reference, I hv an interest in it, Prince had his moon in Aquarius, and the current age we are in is the Age of Aquarius...his ascendant is Scorpio...which deals with 8th house matters...both spiritual signs...he gave back so much too...v.Aquarius and he didn't care what you thought of his music...again very Aquarius...I spent the whole night re-discovering his music on the eve of this century's longest lunar eclipse, guess in which sign? yes, Aquarius....sigh, his music is passionate, and bitter-sweet. I love him...forever...wish he were alive.

What gives me comfort about his death, is that he was ready to go. His spirit had left his body after his collapse on the flight, and he was furious that the hospital brought him back. He had achieved everything he wanted and was bored.......so I know he is where he wanted to be for two years prior. His sister knew this, and had come to terms with it. He is exactly where he knew he was going.....pain free and in Gods heaven. ❤️

I understand that women were nervous being in his presence, but I must say that every interview I saw with Prince interiewed by guy, all of them, no matter how professional and intellectual, were nervous too. It was kind of nervousness with enormous admiration and respect, they couldn't hide it. Even Larry King had that eyes sparkling when looking at him and speaking to him. I don't know any other artist people being like this when interviewing them. Some people God truly sends to Earth as a gift to mankind, and u feel how special, unique and different in the best sense of the word they were and remain shining on forever.🌟💜🥰🍀
