Rahul Dravid was always a top-notch top order bat, and an exemplary professional. A man with manners and standards. A role model in every sense of the word. I didn’t know that Rahul was a football fan. Not the least surprised, though, to hear him gush about Messi. Who wouldn’t? And RD himself was a world class performer in his own sport and team. Cool to see him at FCB and even holding the jersey for the cameras. He should have dropped in a word of good luck to Barca in their second leg tie at home against MU.

Even though Messi maybe a global star, there are other greater sporting legends like Roger Federer, who not only know who Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid are, but also respect their craft and phenomenal careers as he is a truly humble and knowledgeable person who knows and recognizes other phenomenal achievers. So I am sure that these legends will be respected by other like minded greats , and if Messi doesn't give a f@#% about them then even we shouldn't give a S#&t about what Messi does or achieves.
