I don't know what to say about all this. I can't afford to have a credit card. I must live on what I get every month. Sometimes Im broke Sometimes a week or ten days before I get paid again. I believe that again this raise in inflation, is manufactured by the corporation , to hurt the President, or they just aren't happy with the profit they are making, which again are record breaking. This is what it is to hurt everyday people that are being prayed upon . I think it was Geitz who was heard saying, " how can we take money today from poor people. " which my hope is that he loses his money and thrown out of his congressional job , and find out how hard it is to make ends meet .

How is giving the average working US Citizen more wages bad to the consumer drive economy we have created? That means people can buy more consumer/durable goods like a new refrigerator, oven, AC, or just food. Maybe even buy a House for the first time. These companies are too big, in my opinion, and squash smaller competitors, sometimes even demanding that big grocers make sure the best shelf space goes to the big names. We consumers bear the brunt of their collusion.

The root problem is the 20-30% interest rate people pay on every dollar they spend. Many people have to rely on credit to survive, then are never able to dig out from under with those interest rates. They are unreasonable.

In the UK the banks have been stomped on for ridiculously high bank charges and still make obscene profits. Even overdraft fees are regulated in order to prevent exploitative multiple charging. The only real change for the banks is that the bosses have to keep their luxury cars a little longer and have to have them washed instead of swapping dusty ones for showroom fresh models.

Americans pay more for the products they make but the executives in the same companies give themselves raises and bonuses. They had raised their prices to cover the old 3% credit card swipe charge but now they want to keep raising the swipe charges vs cash. So don’t pay people a live able pay. They do not care if you have to work several jobs to get by but they can’t do without their raises and bonuses.

Credit card companies are so eager to hit consumers with late fees. Fun ridiculous fact, if you live in a Central time zone but your credit card company is Eastern, you will be hit with a late fee based on their time zone, not yours, meaning if you think you still have an hour to pay on time at 11pm CST... you're wrong. Many of these scummy companies don't even give you a full day and many won't waive the late fee, either. Not all companies do this, though. USAA, NFCU, and PenFed (just to name a few military-based ones) don't try to gouge you with late fees. I'm sure there are some civilian-based cc companies, but I don't know of any.
