It kills me that the woman was willing to ruin a special moment for the soldiers and their loved ones for a better camera shot. The camera guys should have had unmounted cameras so they could have gotten a better shot around them. Still brought tears to my eyes... I love seeing soldiers reunited with their families. :-)

My daughter and her husband had that surprise moment at the airport. As we were driving home from the hospital, he sirprised her and called and said, come pick me up. We went straight to Indianapolis air port and drove up to the passenger pick up, no parking zone. When my daughter got out. Of the car, a police officer started to make his way over to tell her to move her car. But seeing her hug her husband ànd then reach in to the car and hand him his daughter, straight from the hospital, the officer just backed up and waited. Several onlookers were in tears and clapping. Such a tender moment.

Beautiful, touching story. As someone who has deployed multiple times I know how difficult it is to be away from family. However, these are not Soldiers, they are Airmen. You would have been just as accurate to call them Sailors or Marines. "Soldier" is a term that refers only to members of the Army. It is not indicative of all uniform members in the entire military.
