brought back many memories, First time I went there were no trains working the bank and it took quite a few years to get the line active. been back a few times in those fields to enjoy single and double headers climb the bank. Most enjoyable thank you

What a fantastic sight John, the footplate staff doing a superb job in keeping her going. I've only ever been there on their Summer galas in July, so this was a real treat. Merry Christmas to you and Andew...Bob

Great sound Takes me back to when I used to watch 'None Slip Stone' on a similar gradient at a factory. That was a Peckett 0-6-0 sadly scrapped

Friction bearings in cold weather would add another 30 or 40 ton to this load I estimate to be 70 or 90 tons plus the gradient doesn't help.
