And if you are a part of the shootout, it would still be dumb to pick the gun up because it's out in the open and right in the lane of fire, plus you don't know if its out of bullets, so you would be taking a high risk with the possibility of low results. Your best bet is to stick with thr gun you got and get the hell outta there if you run out of bullets.

The kind of gun that he dropped is definitely not illegal, and whether he would get away on self defense chargers would depend on the state's self defense laws, whether he has a licence to carry, his lawyer, and the context of this video (i.e gang related or not). Self defense is not as strong as a case as you think it is, especially with weapons like that involved. He's using a Military grade weapon for self defense.

Seeing as how this guy simply threw the gun down and ran, it's quite evident that the man doesn't have no permit or licence. No gun owner would discard their personal firearm like that.

Had to watch like 5 times to understand what was happening here. It was a set up tho. Dude in black on the corner was waiting for the dude in white to come out that's when he hit up back up. Ran up on him, then noticed dude in white had a homeboy in the car that was strapped so he took him as a hostage. That's when one of the backups ran across the street wit the rifle tried to rob the passenger, but the passenger busted first and hit him, then he hopped out and tried to run for it. Meanwhile dudes still got dude in white as a hostage until the rest of the backup showed up as they returned fire he dipped out toward them the move out. Atleast I think lmaoo. If that make sense.
