Two areas I don’t go for cheap is overdrive and reverb. Haven’t been able to find cheaper replacements that sound as good.

I'd have to agree! I spent ~$300 on a ZVEX Double Rock and it's the BEST overdrive I have. Tried some Mooer/Joyo ones and they just didn't satisfy.

Okay, I have to go cheap route. I have the Binary amp (which I believe is a upgraded valeton coral amp lol) anyways I pair it with a mooer radar, boosted with some joyo stuff. Not happy with the high gain settings though I have not used the software and not sure if its even upgraded with firmware. The Rectifier sim sounds nothing like any Rectifier Ive ever played and have owned the Triple head and Cab which I had to sell; this is breaking My heart. I bought because of the cdcm modelling that sounds great on Vstomp and all the hype about the Ampero series. Should I have bought the jogg? Or Xstomp? My rig is going into a frfr and just not happy with the amps on it! Saga/Savage is the best thus far on unit for what Im doing but I could trade it all in for an Ampero with CDCM +FIRE modeling thatvsounds amazing on every review I see and now has a global eq! Should I just trade in for the Ampero? Is it that much better? Will it sound at least somewhat Mesa territory? Other options; again this is for My High gain wall off sound search! AMT R2? Mooer cali Dual ? Tc dual wreck? Blackstar HT metal tube pedal? 2716 westminister pedal? Theta preamp? Two notes Le Lead? So many more so called amp in box units but Ive already said and asked too much. Help! This Binary amp is not cutting it!

In that list you gave, try the AMT R2. I had the S2 for the Soldano sound and I regret selling that pedal. It's on par with the Tech 21 analog-style amp sim. AMT gear is the best value-for-money, IMO. Have you tried Tech 21? The older SansAmp GT2 has a killer rectifier sound.

Now that I have the AMt R2 I have to grab the sans amp GT2 , I owned decades ago and even the Behringer clone and amp lol. I figured technology these days would topple those devices. Again thank You so Much for Your recommendations and amazing content!

What do you recommend to do this kind of job (last pedal on the pedalboard to go direct) that just enough to get all the quality needed like enough headroom, noise free and good overall sound? Hi! What amp flavor are you going for? In order of high budget to low budget, I'd recommend the Strymon Iridium (an absolute beast), the Tech 21 SansAmp series (I have the GT2 but I had the Vox and Marshall Character pedals before, really great stuff; but they're mono though), the AMT V2 series, and then the Mooer micro pedal series. I have the Daytripper but it's quite mild in terms of tweakability and the treble isn't there. Not an issue if you like warmer tones like me.

Yeah I do like warmer tones especially for the mid to high gain sounds but for the cleans, I really like something "fendery", if that is even a word 😅😅.. Not neccesarily I want to have two channels by any means. If I can a have a good fendery clean from the it, then I can eq my od and distortion pedal to get the warmer sounds.

I like them! They're a little 2D compared to what I hear with the Helix and HX Stomp, but they certainly get the job done. I have the Mooer Daytripper and have used it for years now when I need a simpler board.

So what do you think it's better (talking about amo sims.) Hotone ampero or binary amp?

I think that would depend on your needs! The Ampero has so much more I/O and functionality with the expression pedal and the XLR outs. The Binary is cheaper and integrates better into a pedalboard (it only needs 9V but the Ampero needs 18V). Sound-wise, they're comparable.

Any experience with the Binary CAB? Been looking for a headphone practice setup and on the fence between that one and the Mooer Radar.

Hi! I don't have experience with the Cab but I have tried the Mooer Radar. As far as I can see for the features, the Cab has more options than the Radar, while the Radar has power amp simulation (I honestly don't think it makes a difference). Other than that, the most important feature is that they both feature 3rd party IR loading, which will probably be much better sounding than the stock ones that come with. At least, this is true of the Radar. Get a hold of the free Worship Tutorials IR pack!

@@AllAboutWorshipGuitar Interesting. I was wondering about the power amp simulation as well (the Binary does come with that btw), which is why I was also considering the NUX Mini Studio. Basically half the price, minus the power amp, but also supports custom IR loading. Now I'm wondering if that's actually the better option. What do you think? Thanks, will definitely check out your IRs once I get my hands on one of these!

I have rowin ws-20 wireless transmitter and the sound is clear. It's a cheap one but not as cheap as the ammoon.

Do you have problems stacking drives? That was the deal-breaker for me since I play mostly in church and need a clean pedal platform.

Use a gate pal, everyone does with every product. Dont down sell hotone gear. You reap what you sow i guess.

Oh yes I do, especially in the studio. And in addition to reaping what you’re sowing, the main point of my video was that “you get what you pay for”, to caution people that this is the noise standard you’re getting with budget gear. Between my Line 6 stuff and the Hotone, setting them up at the same settings, I can apply a much gentler gate (with a more natural sound) with the Line 6 but not the Hotone.
