I guess the point is, once you set it up the 1st time to your specific layout, you can try different pots and pickups without having to resolder anything again, if you are looking for a specific tone on you guitar.

You can make your own wires! It's cheap and easy you can put the jst connectors on too!

I never thought of those wires being too short. I've been playing for 33 years, have 27 guitars, and only 4 with active EMG's and 3 of those came with them. The one I installed was on a Warlock so I lucked out with the short wires. Well shiiiiiiit... 🤣Now I know! 🤘

All of the comments are correct. You should read the description better and order a set a of pickups with the correct kit. So what if you need to replace 2 new spade ends. It is not a big deal. Get it together before you post a negative review.

A Jackson of that price point should have holes big enough, maybe a little tight but you should be able to force the cable through. Even the cheap 200 dollar js32 Vs have holes big enough. I’d recommend having that guitar authenticated by a reputable dealer if you didn’t buy it from Jackson directly. The Chinese fakes are out there and they’re almost unnoticeable

You should learn to read before buying stuff! I totally don’t see any problem with EMG. It should be obvious that the distances on your guitar are kinda big and EMG doesn’t provide a cable reel. And connectors needing a specific diameter for the connection holes should also be clear. Maybe now some buyers will think before making impulsive purchases I think that was your intention?! 🤔🤘

man help where do i weld the " bridge ground "cable ? the one that is on the back springs of the guitar.

If you’re using active emgs you don’t need it. Active pickups don’t require a ground wire to the bridge. Just rip it out if you’ve got active pickups

To take the wires out of the ends so you can solder an extension in. Or can just get a jumper wire and use it as extension to get your length.
