To have a fair comparison, shouldn't both shirts have the same color, design and if possible the same shirt (ie. Bella Canvas or Gildan)?

I feel the same thing. Just having different color shirts of the same brand (Bella in this case) can make a huge difference. Even when it is the same line of the same brand, the fabric material (cotton/polyester) can change to keep the clothing dye vibrant. Also, I feel that this is an unfair comparison for Printify because there are so many different printers. From what I read, certain printers are super crappy whereas other printers produce much better quality printing (there are youtube videos that show the great discrepancy amongst Printify products when same design is printed on the same Bella Canvas shirt ).

I'm waiting for the updated version of this comparison where: a) you buy 2 pairs of white shirt from both company, b) bought 2 pairs of black shirt from both company, c) all 4 of them is using the same design, d) the designs contains mixed colors but have contrasts too, e) use tomato or chili ketchup to stain. and ran the same comparison from this video. It will be awesome~ Sorry if this overwhelms or too much to ask. It's just more 'research-like' comparison because you're really good doing it. It will show the best and fair comparison for shirt and print quality from both company. I'm so sorry. I'm really really sorry.

Certain black color was very dark, and certain white was 'yellowish' if you take a hard look at some fabric....

The colour of the t-shirts impacts stain resistance because both shirts are made of different material compositions (even though they're the same brand). As many others have stated both t-shirts should have been the same colour. In my personal opinion I would say the Printful t-shirt looks better after washing because the print itself isn't as thick as the Printify t-shirt, thicker print leads to a rougher looking texture.

It doesn't make sense to compare different colors and different prints. Printers, even these for paper, always struggle with some colors while othets turn out well. Also vibrancy of colors looks different on bright background. But I started wondering about your competence when you weren't sure if Latvia is in eastern Europe. It was 5 sec to check before making voiceover.
