It looks like a lot of fun but it's illegal in the US to fly inside and without VLOS.

I’m also doing Real Estate drone jobs but… as per the rules put out by CASA, aren’t we supposed to keep our eyes on the drone itself and not use googles? So my question really is, would flying like this be legal under the CASA drone rules?

You need to get a different licence for this and you cant use goggles outdoors

I dunno about sitting in your house flying around your neighbourhood a few feet off the kerb. BIG NO NO!!! VLOS - A spotter is required. God forbid a disgruntled neighbour comes up and whacks you over the head.

you lost signal because trees have water in them, and anything with water have high capabilities for scrambling radio signals. aside from that, you should never be sitting inside a building while flying outside.
