If your Z is manual, midmount is really the best option every time. I’ve made 600whp on 93 (no meth) with my midmount kit and it supports over 800whp with proper fueling & turbo selection.

We make over 600 all the time on rear placement. This car had ignition issues. We stopped instead of scattering rods like you prefer to do. Hope all is well. Happy holidays.

Just for the record twin turbos are twins meant to spool and hit boost at the exact same time. Sequential turbos on the other hand is where one hits bottom end and the other hits top end

I have 08 and with the SC lyte kit, and I did the VR30 7AT trans and aluminum drive shaft with everything required. Overall, 18,000. But yes, do the basics to prep the engine. So, there are no complications.

One thing I've wondered about is if it's worth getting a used turbo kit and building around that? I'm looking at getting into a VQ model next year and want to turbo it also. Just doing my research as this would be my first car that I'm actually modding. It would be a semi daily driven car and I want modest power 450-500hp range.

@EzEver their base kit is around 7k installed, I decided to do a ton of other things and ended up spending a lot more haha. I had my gallery gaskets done, turbo kit fabricated and installed, water/meth injection system installed, EcuTek flash and BT dongle, dyno tuning, upgraded my boost controller and blow off valve, upgraded fuel pump, upgraded injectors, and a ton of miscellaneous things too - still was below $19k 😂 The car makes 600whp with the limit being my clutch. I had JUST put a performance one in last season and didn’t think I’d turbo the car, once I change that my kit is good for more power.

Why would it make less power, boost is boost, it can make the same power as any other kind of turbo kit when setup properly, i just tuned a z that we have at our shop and made 640whp with the same setup that we sent to danny

Oh other thing too bro you scare me with the amount of shit that's usually big ticket items for the low, this shit ain't a honda or a beater, careful where you cut corners I cringe sometimes listening to you talk about how you go about things, turbo kit is not just a bolt on your right about checking all leaks that was good to hear but on a 370z 350z unless it has very low miles you should always engine out and inspect before adding something that will add way more pressure along the entire assembly, also idk if you have it but please buy a catch can, if you want my recommendation soho or radium
