Great! Im a new player and this is useful thanks. How do i, in orchards, apple for instance is it auto harvest like the coffee beans? I wanna have apples but farmers wont harvest and if i fell the tree i dont get apples still.

If you try to get the forest farm early, you will never run out of wood again. 10 x 10 is big enough :)

I find it to be efficient to build interim house at the start. They all settle right in, it's easier to heat up and more food efficient it seems. Later on I start building new houses 1 by 1 without stretching my resources too much at once. Then the interim house is getting empty, and I just keep if for the next migrant wave. What do you think?

the only problem with interim housing is that is does not promote settlers having kids, so your population growth will be stalled early on. I like to keep one for immigrants and natural disaster/fires

@@TJTURTLE it's mostly for like 1 year or less, population growth for such a small period can be disregarded in favor of more efficient heating and food deloveries

about 10-20 times tbh, but yeah, it takes some time if you want best conditions. Overall it doesnt matter long term, since rss nodes disappear :(
