I have been stalking the prada website and saw it pop up as in stock ONCE, but back then I wasn't ready to purchase and ever since it's been continuously out of stock. I just got the white one; TOTAL impulse purchase 😬 But I LOVE it! I am “jazzy auntie” age (56) - I am SO gonna use that name now! I thought it might be too young of a look for me, so I never pursued it. I have a fairly large handbag collection consisting of a lot of Chanel, YSL, Valentino, Gucci, etc. but all fairly classic styles. So when I wandered into Prada this weekend, I wasn’t expecting to find and love this one. But I did. Just like your experience, the white one was a special order for a client that decided not to pick it up. So it was available to purchase. And it took me 0.2 seconds to decide to purchase! 🤣 But I am thrilled to have it! What a fun bag!
