This is how I do my natural hair. It is as thick and a little longer than your braids are but thankfully, you’ve given me the scoop on how to get it to lay flat 🙌🏽. Thanks girl! I ALWAYS have disobedient curls and waves that go rogue.

Your hair looks great. Grew out a lot since you cut it last. Great instructional video. It will be more challenging for me cause my hair is thicker, but I love the style.

I love your videos. ❤️ I’m really trying to stick to this kind of protective style this year but mine just never come out to my liking. I will keep trying though.

nun ya bisness I have long thick apl hair and use a spray + leave in cream - if not, my hair eats products and remains dry. My favorites are Mane Choice 4 leaf clover leave in spray, Mielle Organics Avocado milk and Palmer’s Olive Oil milk. 😎🥰

nun ya bisness You’re welcome! I use the LCO (leave in, cream, oil) -I either seal with Palmer’s Cocoa Butter oil or Palmer’s Olive oil grease (Walmart, $ 4). I’ve learned the hard way that thick hair requires extra products and love ❤️. I’m leaving apl and should reach mbl by Summer. 😎🎉🎉

Kersti Pitre Hey, thanks for responding, and I wish I’d tried them sooner. Kroger, Ralph’s, Fry’s / other affiliate stores sell their products much cheaper than Walmart, Target, or Sally’s . 😎😊👍🏽🎉

Also, to prevent your ends from sticking out is to place the added around the your ends and proceed braiding. Another KZbind did this (I forgot her name).

Gorgeous! And that looks like a solid 10 to me....lol! But it's always easier to braid/conrnrow on someone other than yourself (at least for me it is). Of course uppit make this look beginner friendly😏....but I'm not sure. I'll let uppity know once I finish messing this style up🤣😂 on my own hair.

Its a shame that we have to stress a “work” appropriate style with braids hella annoying
