I'd also add that purchasing uncommon or rare units (green border and blue border, respectiely) from the GRID is highly efficient from a gold use standpoint. To upgrade a common unit to uncommon requires 4 x 90G (i.e. the original unit purchase + 3 copies for the 3 stars) equaling 360g, plus the 500 arclight energy. However, when uncommon, non-hero, units are offered in the GRID, these units cost 270g, effectively giving you 4 copies of the unit plus the waived arclight energy if you don't have the uncommon rarity of the mini. If you do have the uncommon rarity of the mini, you're still getting 4 stars for 270g. In the worst case, you are saving 90g, best case is saving 90g and the 500 arclight energy. Using gold to buy even higher rarity minis from the GRID will always be as efficient as, if not more efficient, than buying less rare versions, even if the gold cost makes your eyes pop out of your head.

Thanks for newbie info! I didn't know how the GRID refreshed the way it did, which really helps. Still unsure when Heroic bosses unlock though. I'm only at 39 red coins. I am currently playing as f2p until global in few days in which I am a spender, but these tips are very helpful especially for bunch friends who will be playing.

Hi Excoundrel, I was hoping to see advices in this video on whether to wait for uncommon upgrades directly from the grid or get the upgrade using energy in the early game. (I think it saves a lot by giving more star per gold and completely zero energy spend.) Do you have advices on general progression strategy? Also will there be direct buys of rare upgrades in the grid? Given how much arclight energy you have, I think it wouldn't be a huge difference in late game, but I want to get to that 3000 pvp level faster, so any advice would be great :)

Uncommon it isn't worth to wait the energy cost is so low - but rares are sometimes worth waiting for General progress stategy = unlock as many minis as you don't own to increase collection level then work on getting good mins to uncommon You can get direct buys of both rares AND epics on the grid but they are less common!

I am a little confused and could use the help. You show icons under each mission in PVE for each faction. I don't have that when I switch faction heroes. Is this something you unlock later on? I am at 44 Sigils.

so, but where is gameplay? i'm "researeching" this new warcraft game for 10 minutes, but i still don't know what kind of game it is? all you reviewers do is show menus of convoluted systems where player must spend money for boost. I get predatory microtransactions, but if you buy boosts of something, what you do with them? is boosts without a game now a norm? edit: Victory! I found out, this new warcraft game is a tower defense between two bases where you play as a creep waves. blizzard now making millions by milking players with a glorified flash game..

!WARNING NO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS GAME! There is match scaling!! Dont pay for this game. its a scam even compared to similar games. They scale you during the matches!! your power and level are not consistent. You paid for upgrades but they scale you when you play so you don't get the value of those upgrades. Scaling shouldn't exist in a game like this. This is a scam beyond so many other games.
