@@ascarixv3765 A lot of trail and error. If I were you since you're on console. Go into freeplay and go from each goal back and forth just air rolling in a straight line to get use to controlling your car in the air, then start trying to steer while air rolling ( you will fail, but that's ok) after a while you will start building muscle memory. Even try doing it with air dribbles. You will suck at first but muscle memory is not able to be fast tracked

It’s so freaking hard to rank while solo queuing. Even with an SSL level mentality it is still hard with a random dude. I have no mates to play this game with and I always end up with dudes like these that throw the games act weirdly etc…

D2-D3 C1 players in my ranked games are air rolling, ceiling shots, flip resets and they flick if you see them you might think they are smurf

you should see them now, most of them in C1 / C2 are straight up GCs, they hit the most insane angles and double flip resets and so on... i have no idea why theres so many smurfs or people "stuck" in champ when they're supposed to be much higer...

I'd say not in low champ. It's a no mechanics challenge, air roll shot and speedflips aren't something low mechanic champs will be doing normally.

Im C1-C2, I can fast aerial, I can consistently flip reset, air dribble, double tap, musty double tap. I’m great at defending from the backboard and getting power clears. I can speed flip, I can chain dash on the wall. My recoveries are pretty clean, always could work on them more though. I got to c1 without any mechanics at all, after that I started learning mechanics and I got pretty clean. Lately I’ve been been freestyling a bit, I’m working on double resets, and reset musty’s

@@ChaoTix.S Thats the reason for my rank. My positioning, boost management, and rotations are great. Thats how I got better at the game, I didn’t start getting mechanical until recently. Most of what I do is free styling at the moment, because it’s fun.

Training and practicing decision making and 1v1 helps

At this rank i would recommend focus on: Recovery (Wavedashs, Halfflips, Powerslide) Basic shooting (Pack: Shooting Consistency) and basic flicks, catching the ball and flicking it fast. Also: do wide rotations, dont stay close to the play, unless its a 2v1 offence situation

Not missing the ball is half of getting out of plat. Even if you're not the best at directing the ball, just not whiffing will get you far. If you whiff in diamond you get scored on.

Ah yes, the absolute pain of teammates that will almost never be there for open for passes that create an open goal shot. All because they just retreat all the way back to goal. Which leads to the opposing team getting shots out of it most of the time, which means getting scored on quite a bit. When if people would just stick in the play more often than not, the potentiality of the opposing team even being able to shoot is minimal. 🙄

I honestly don't think most C1 can speedflip, at least not consistently. Just because there are people at that rank doing those mechanics doesn't mean a "zero" mechanic challenge should be using them. Really if something is not reliably done by most if not all players at a rank it probably is too mechanical for this challenge/series.

Imo you are playing too far from the play, i know you want to teach that they cant do that much with the ball yet so it‘s easier to collect when they mess up, but try to convince a little bit that you need to be there for your teammate and not only be passive until the opponents gives away the ball.. people need to get more comfortable closer and faster

Well I'm also ranked in C1, but am definitely way better than this C1s... I just play casual and got decent mechanics (can also flip reset etc.), what also tell me GC's when I'm queing up with them. I'm just too lazy to grind ranked, cuz I literally have to carry all my random mates, because I got too good for C1, prob could hit GC1. Don't wanna sound arrogant at this point, but it is what it is

No, the point of series like this is to show how your fundamentals are what's keeping you from ranking up, not your ability to flip reset or lack thereof. In this series specifically i think Luke tries to teach more gamesense than basic mechanics though.

He's not smurfing like others who you're refering to do. He's barely using any mechanics and is often losing games because of his tm8. And when he does win games, it's not with like air dribbles and flip resets and ceiling shots, just basic power shots, powerslide cuts, open nets. You may find it surprising to find out that you rarely run into smurfs. Someone who's peaking and someone who's smurfing can often look similar.
