In the beginning you can use masking grenade for all 4 of you then run straight to the elevator without killing zombies, the only problem is that a bull can spawn inside the elevator so i suggest one of you should use the class with the taser.

Played this game for less than 2 weeks and i'm nearly level 250. I can tell you the first mission in NY is probably one of the top 5 hardest missions just because of the crate part at the end.

party leader has to press esc, click the empty slot in upper right corner and invite the disconnected player for the disconnected player, join party and then you have the option to fix your classes, weapons etc. then just press ready and you will join the session. it seems you cannot enter midgame sessions without being invited

Ammo boxes are also individual player pick ups, not shared. Each player has 6 pick ups of the box also you physically see the supplies disappear from the boxes.

You can speedrun this with mutators in order to earn 1K+10 blue coins each time. On regular public matches, there are glitch spots on the descent map, look them up. You can run through the first area with a masking grenade or go through it with stealth (watch out for lurkers). At the end, there is a dark corner on the right of the subway. Have someone stay in the back (a glitch that makes u invisible to the zombies)on the right side so 1-3 ppl can collect the supply crates.

Go to the escalator opposite of the ammo box. Get behind sandbags and run the ledge. You can get stuck up there.

if you haven't completed NY episode 2 - wave 1 hide inside the secret weapon room, try to break down the door and get inside the room as a bunker and kill them quietly . use your smoke gas and then trigger the button when it needed. NY episode 3 - when you reach inside kind of sewage, use smoke gas also and sneak through. don't fight, cause many surprises below the sewage system

The other classes do get masking effects on certain perks, I like fixer and think it is one of the best classes but gunslinger, slasher, medic and exterminator appeal to me more and I just wanted to try something different since everyone plays fixer lol hopefully my team picks a fixer 😅

No you don't have to. I've played a couple and this seems to be one of the easier missions. I've also heard the NY 3 level as well. Plenty of options. But honestly looking at how we played NY1, its pretty easy with our strats we demonstrated.

I only play solo. Beat this level on extreme a few times now. I've found that the game won't let you stealth on extreme most of the time. I've head popped every Zombie in the opening floor and then out of no where a screamer spawns, screams then disappears just as I'm approaching the elevator. WTF is that trash?

The trash you mention is literal trash. The game has always had bad special spawns. It's slowly getting better each patch but still..

@@Venatix Its not the spawning that gets me, it's the screaming then vanishing part. Why does it vanish after one scream. Its like a big FU from the game for stealthing on harder difficulties.

I joined 3 Japanese dudes, all lvl 295 playing Tokyo from the start. They were extremely good and helpful and didn't rush anything. Guess I was lucky. If you join the right people, playing extreme is very fun. We almost made it to the end after a couple of tries.
