Learn more about and purchase the Nutramilk at: www.discountjuicers.com/nutramilk.html Learn more about and purchase the Soyabella (better almond cow alternative) at www.discountjuicers.com/soyabella.html Further Comments: On the nutramilk, I should have ran the butter mode longer, maybe for 10-12 minutes to get the almonds broken down further, and there would have been less pulp leftover at the end of the process. On the Almond Cow, the lock washer and nut on the bottom of the blade assembly CAME off while processing! This is really not a good thing, which then caused later damage to my blender as I attempted to get better utilization out of the hardy ground almonds.

One benefit of the almond cow over the Nutramilk is all stainless steel contact points vs. plastic in the Nutramilk. I use soy lecithin to my milks to make them more creamy. I own an Almond Cow and it works well at a lower cost, lower time and easier clean up. Almond Cow for the win.

Would be nice if they could take some points from many Japanese brands and incorporate glass where appropriate and steel otherwise... I don't mind a little heavy duty plastic for the body, but the plastic of most of these is pretty cheap China-made quick to warp/break stuff. I'm still using 20 year old gadgets NOT made in China... haven't needed to change out since even the gasket at the bottom only needed replacing once after heavy use almost daily 14 years in.

I have a Nutramilk machine and I really like it. Don’t make too many nut milks (eat low fat) but I make raw veggie broth in it then freeze it in 1 c Souper cubes for later uses. I use the optional butter container to make some nut butters and almond meal for baking, raw apple sauce, blend nice cream and use it like a food processor. Like that I can wash up the containers, blade, and wiper in the dishwasher!

I had the Almond Cow for about a week and returned it. I was not happy about all the pulp left over after making almond milk (I’m not talking about the stuff inside the filter thing) I had at least 1/4 cup in my nutmilk bag after pouring it through. I purchased the NutraMilk and LOVE it. Barely and almond skin sludge left over. Poured the milk through a nutmilk bag and there was virtually no sediment. Yes, its expensive, but worth it. Watching the videos will make me broke as I’ve ordered a Sana 727 juicer (15 year warranty sold me).

I’m thinking about getting one of these machines just for convenience, but honestly, when I put all my ingredients into my Vitamix, and then strain with a nut milk bag, I’m left with a playdough consistency. no teal moisture left at all. The milk I get is pretty creamy, but it’s just so time consuming, and so messy that it’s a real pain in the butt to have to do every day. Don’t know if I’m happy about what’s left over in the Almond Cow. Seems like a lot left over.

I’ve known about almond cow since it was first released but seeing the current model hasn’t shown much improvement to the amount of waste or pulp accumulation I may have to pass. My main concern is making a creamy nut milk with little to no waste. It’s one of the reasons I never liked the nut milk bag method as all that extra pulp was annoying to deal after many sessions making milks. It’s Nutramilk for the win.

Wish I would have watched this before buying the almond cow. I'm not impressed with it. It stops working after a few cycles because it gets overheated. The Pulp is so wet and there are always unprocessed chunks. It's awkward to us the parts, I can never see the measure markings. And the milks are just always very watery. Even when triple processing with the cream recipes.
