I found that the bigger pieces fully grown are easier. You remove the prickly sides then you can actually peel off the skin of one side. Then remove the pulp or the gel with a regular spoon. 😊

I never have stored it in the Fridge as it does not contain any preservatives it’s best to be consumed right away. The best time is to have it every day morning on an empty stomach. I have been having it for the past 8/9 yrs and my constipation problem has vanished

No, the latex is the poisonous part, you can't eat the skin any way. To remove the latex, soak the peeled gel part in water for 30 minutes, then rinse it well.
