I made the switch 2 weeks ago, having been on controller PC for a while. Was a good player but frustrated and felt held back. I also have higher ping. I'm already clutching so many more 1v2's, it's worth the grind and this video is so right. Just wait till you start beating all your friends, it's fun lol but be nice, don't get a big head. be mature!

I got a new keyboard and I've been playing kbm for the past 2 days. I have my own binds and sense. I am facing someone who im better than on controller but he is better than me while im on kbm. Its going good. I would recommend looking at your hand when picking binds and seeing where your fingers can go and what they are comfortable with. Also, play real games and not just creative so u get used to farming and your wepon slots. I used to bairly play kbm and I would switch inputs while not fighting and it helped. If u just start I would recommend playing kbm but if your fighting you can switch back till u build confidence

I laugh at myself for dying or while 1v1 fighting my friends. Ive finally decided to truly switched over( played it a little bit before. Got to the point where i could do 90s and just switched back to controller). My movement is still pretty janky and clumsy. Still fumble my build binds a bunch. Its funny trying to stay alive against a better person and even funnier when you actually kill them. In just a few days i seen pretty good progression. One tip i learned from another youtuber was practicing movement by playing a deathrun. It helped my movement a ton. Been on a pretty good training routine. 30mins/1 hour doing freebuilding/editing then another 30min/1 hour doing aim training in creative. Then a few hours on pubs even though i suck. Im getting better at not panicking during a fight but panick build here and there. Aim is still pretty janky and not smooth. But just seeing how much ive improved over a few days is really motivating

Yeah great advice and I want to thank you for pointing it out to new people. I knew some of what you said but still liked that somebody used a platform to say it! I’m in the middle of switching and struggle sometimes with comparing myself to others. I’m slowly improving but hard on myself, I used to finish fights with my elite 2 controller but now I just die. I’m now at a point where I get killed and don’t rage because I remember in my head that if I was on controller he would have got destroyed. I then leave and head straight into a new match.

Iv got a question i changed my sense from 5.1 400dpi to a 7.1 800dpi. The reson i stwiched was because my sence was to slow and i could not do anything but tripple edit but when i up my sence my aim was worse but my builds were better was it worth it??

I've been on kbm for a week now, Been playing controller since OG S2 and on PC for over a year. Its honestly pretty fun, it feels like a totally different game! Very immersive and building/edit has the potential to feel like a God. Learning everyday and gonna stick with it! It's Alpha! Unless you're literally cracked and have literal 0 ping on controller!

I have been seeing people get used to kbm in a week because a lot of videos saying 1 week progression just like learning claw on controller. My friend switched between platforms 4 times the first 2 being switching between Xbox to ps4 then going back to xbox(3rd) then finally sticking to kbm and he's much better now a days

Do you have to confirm a wall, floor etc with the mouse button. Not necessary the mouse button. On controller you just press say rb and it places it. Just switched to k+m so would like to know. Please help
