We should really normalize saying '10 cycling' rather than zero cycling because you get max rewards at 10 cycles. Zero cycling is like speedrunning abyss in Genshin. 10 cycling is like aiming for 36 stars.

ikr! hsr meta discussions are honestly so much more toxic than genshin could ever be 💀people legit get shamed for clearing in say 5 cycles with one team when that should be the norm to begin with. Zero cycling/speedrun players are a tiny minority anyway. Not to mention, tier lists also influence a lot of players, and I hope they realize that just because a character is ranked a couple tiers lower than whatever hyv's favorite waifu of the month is, it doesn't mean they're suddenly worthless, just that they might take 1 or 2 more cycles to clear things, and you still have a good chance at getting all the rewards

Just "clearing" endgame doesn't need more than a week or two of (relic) farming for 8 chars, it's only when you try to make them really good and minmax, that's when it gets tedious.

So...Another mindset that is helpful is to not stress about it it you finish with 10 or 11 stars instead of 12 stars in a mode etc. Even if you are stuck with those scores for 6 months... the loss of Jade is minimal. Basically only loss of 240 stellar jade over 6 weeks. That's not even 2 limited pulls. Of course it's nicer to get it but you don't screw over your account by any means by not being able to fully star Pure Fiction or whatever. Don't stress.

​@@Isken74How are artifacts in Genshin more important than HSR. Unlike Genshin, where you can dodge or shield, then everything gets done (abyss is pretty easy). But HSR has a restriction through cycle which means relic substats matters more.

Zero-cycling is for at least low spenders in most cases (F2Ps can do that, too, but there are very few cases when it can be done usually). Wyatt is a good example of such a player, he uses eidolons and signature light cones on almost all supports. I am only using E0 limited 5-stars, and it is a big difference.

F2P can do it if you get lucky and can recycle relics. IE: people who invested in DH and pulled for fei xiao who have been playing since 1.0 can reuse wind relic set instead of farming new ones. You need to be very lucky on who you pulled for though. My friend can zero cycle cause he skipped silver wolf and blade, but I pulled for them thinking they'd be future proof. He only started pulling for kafka + ruan mei.

@@Takkunda Just precising: I speak about 0-cycles on Floor 12 in MoC. From my F2P experience, it is mostly possible when the MoC is tailor-made for the new DPS character. Like it was the case with Firefly, when she first appeared, she could 0-cycle easily. I almost achieved that with 0-level relics on her, I remember.

Very clearly explained and I like the spaceship analogy. I watch a lot of HSR guides routinely and I must say that guides like these are on different tier. Theres a ton of ADVANCED insights and tips uniquely mentioned where other guides doesn't talk about much is so helpful. (Example - MAIN stat priority, level traces, in combat stats)

I agree with most of what nutty said about prioritizing main stats. like I agree that you should prioritize the main stat especially for supports but that doesn't mean that the sub stats can be whatever. At least make sure that the flat hp, def and atk are not monopolizing the sub set area, and for some reason all three (sometimes all at the same relic) like to appear on crit body relics. Plus you can't really achieve a 1:2 crit ratio with main stats alone since you have to choose between crit rate and crit dmg. At least that's what I learned since I have to throw out some 5 star relics anyway whenever the inventory becomes full.

Right now with the extremely high damage that enemies do on MOC and also on higher levels of SU and DU I’m saving for Aventurine and his rerun. I prefarmed to max all his traces in one go and I’ve got a bunch of DEF main stat equipment in a few different sets all ready for him. I’m already fantasizing about finally being able to clear some stuff that’s brickwalled me for a while. Tnx for the insight, I was somewhat jealous when I saw that triple Rappa in 1 10 pull on Hoyolab but yesterday, I got all 3 featured 4* light cones in 1 10 pull, that was rare in of itself though not equal to a 5* one but lucky indeed. Also, I was feeling I can't clear MoC without FF but just tried a level with HMC, RM n Gall as 3 man team with Fu for CC resist, surprised to see it cleared. So, I believe it may take time it's not completely impossible to clear end game content.

I absolutely love this video. As someone who has been playing from almost day 1 and coming from playing Genshin for 3 years I still learned a lot from this video. Very thankful to run into this video. Meta aside lile firedly comp cuz I really like her as a char I will admit my 2nd comp is definitely lackluster. The problem is choosing the 2nd comp, yes I have acheron minus chef boi who I refuse to roll for cuz I play gachas for girls, my fua isnt comfy cuz no fei xiao( wasnt interested in her as a char but her gameplay in trial event was fun albeit mind numbing) so I have to make ration, topaz/march hunt work somehow. As the vid progressed I definitely see cuz I never fully finished a 2nd comp aka acheron or fua, Im having trouble actually doing moc 12. Now my priority is completing my traces, finishing light cones(literally only firefly and acheron have their lc maxed and its also sig lc) It was refreshing to see that I wasmt wrong trying to aim my main stats on the part relics correctly, eventually I got warped in the sub stat hell but seeing as u said main stats more important I can proabbly not stress about sub stats as much now. Wall of text but thanks again for vid. I normally only pull for what I lile outside of oh I really lack x thing which was sustain at the time. I plan to pull for fugue cuz I really like her so in the mean time, finish up my traces, lcs, try some more energy ropes at the expense of some stats cuz of the whole need threshold of x stat for some kind of value mentality that also plagued me.

If that's the case, then the issue might be an inability to maximise the unique mechanism of the particular endgame content. For e.g. the MOC this season may be about dealing extra damage depending on the number of follow up attacks (FUA) done. If you don't have a good FUA team you may struggle to make the most of this often very helpful mechanism. I highly recommend checking out EODGamer on the different kinds of teams in HSR so that you know what to build to adapt to the different mechanisms.

I play Genshin and HSR, and their is a difference in how I use crowns and tracks of destiny: I ALWAYS level up the HSR characters that I use to the highest level, and in Genshin, I only do that with the top meta characters, and only their most relevant talents. That is because crowns are SO hard to get. Well, at least they used to be even rarer, now, we can exchange them in the shop for 50 starglitter (=HSR starlight, which is also very valuable). In HSR, each month, I always use embers exchange to buy 1) gold tickets x5, 2) silver tickets x5 and 3) Tracks of Destiny x2. In Genshin Impact, I only "buy" the five intertwined and acquaint fates each month.

I've been playing for like 6-7 months and I've already 3 starred AS4 last rotation and 2 starred MoC 12. I have had a couple pieces that had substats so good it was worth forgoing a main stat, but only a couple, and even then they were HP and Defense so they were still contributing as opposed to like Effect Hit Rate or the wrong element orb. The thing that's been the biggest pain is I still don't have speed boots for my Lynx, but at this point I'm going to prefarm Aventurine instead of working on her. Maybe I come back to her someday. She's been good to have around, I just think I'm outgrowing her. Also the trace maxing advice is super good advice. I've got a few friends that have been struggling with endgame modes, but then they've got a ton of traces underinvested because "its only 2% DPS" but then like 6 or 8 traces are underinvested, or not invested because of it and all of their units are like 15% weaker than they should be.

I'm trying to figure out how to clear end game modes as a new player but so far the only thing I'm getting is level up. I suppose trying to clear on lvl 60 characters when you only have Himeko, Bronya, Dr Ratio, Aventurine and Sunday as your 5 stars is asking for too much. Wasn't even able to get 1 star in PF. Sad. Really informative video for the future though! Especially helpful that you emphasized the main stat being the most important - I'm the type to stress over perfection in stuff like relics, now I know to not focus on the sub stats religiously

I watched most of the video and it was what I expected. Aka no help. I can farm good, even great relics, have max traces for everyone, but have bad units, or just units that don't work in the current cycle, then I can do nothing. No matter how much I switch around the supports, how good relics I farm, not having strong enough characters locks me out from beating any of them for 12 or 36 stars.

For units E0S1 Fu Xuan, E2S1 FF, E0S1 Acheron, E1S1 Himeko, E0S0 Clara and un unbuilt Velt. Best teams I could cook up is FF+HTB+Gall+Asta/Himeko, Acheron+FX+Pela+Guinaifen and Clara+FX/Nat/Lynx+Tingyun+H.March.

the game is easy when you got the new unit i guess start on 3rd week of june, getting FF and jade (lost 50/50 on ruan mei) the next patch getting yunli and huohuo (losing 50/50 on sparkle) 2.5 i got all limited (feixiao, robin, lingsha, topaz) i clear all endgame within first half of 2.5 (robin was game changer, not even build feixiao team yet) so around 3 months ? mostly stuck in PF (alr clear moc and AS in yunli banner) break is so braindead and HMC was huge boost for that. and as classic turn base support always bring your dps and team to another peak (so does robin and huohuo) i have quite background on turn base so i kinda know what iam doing and the hsr dev is laying out new unit that tailored to spesific endgame content to clear it easily so thats given, also always check hoyolab guys, it is so good, i cant believe that they provide so much information (stat to focus and also main stat on spesific slot, team building and alternative/substitute, prioritizing traces or even how much resource needed to level up the character )

I think where i genuinely go wrong is speed. It’s not a stat that’s easy to get and if i do then the rest of the sub stats are not worth it to lvl the piece up. So many of my units have 132 or 120 speed just short ti go twice. I have sunday and bronya and also firefly so that really boosted my account.

:o never thought the reason i hesitated leveling in the beginning was because i played genshin first, i always talent 10 on the priority now also i dont think crowns are obtainable every updates, its probably every other updates on major events, its probably as rare or rarer than the self modeling resin? i feel like some patches im good with the moc bad with as, some im good with the as bad with the moc, but im always bad at pure fiction😭😭😭

i able to beat content , just miss the final 3 star of each content, cause i know my 2 pieces effect and sub stats are down the drain , i understand , and im ok cause thats what i can manage, this video helps thanks , have fun , i enjoy beating content with my team , some time i don have the right members, but try make do with other characters. it wont be as good but at least theres effort , genshin player here too

So... to put it simply, Just pull a superbreak dps, build them, pull a superbreak lightcone, pull a break support and watch the damage go brrrrr./j Okay, no, seriously. I don't really care about end-game, i'm only really here for the story and ONE character in practical that i'll keep personal. Tho, i do appreciate all the tips! definitely one of the best endgame guides i've seen so far! I'll be sure to save this video and use it whenever i feel quirky and actually try to beat endgame!

my problem is this cycles hoolay and not having feixiao. I have tried clara and himeko for a follow up team but that wasnt good. I have the firefly break team in the first one (with gallagher, i dont have lingsha) so im not sure what else i can do for the second one. i could try boothill but i dont have luocha to sustain him so idk if he would survive hoolay

for new player, they are doing a catch up, a losing battle, especially when TB power is so limited, or waiting half a year for a rerun. I wish the game has more mercy on us new player.

Been playing since day one, always struggled to get the last 1 or 2 stars inn endgame content. Most of my carry are E0 S1 as a low spender. I spend weeks farming but i still couldn't clear Apoc or get the last stars in Moc, even with E0 S1 Rappa and Acheron. This video helps a ton. I have a feeling its my relics but idrk lol

You need the right characters as well. I'm a new player who has a lot of time on my hands so a breeze through content quickly. Can't get very far on The end have stuff. Barely been through any banners yet. It's scary how little the is in To do on this game! They have 3 worlds built out... Give is more to do on those worlds! Don't need to add a bunch of cut scenes

Nutty, I have a request. Can you make a video explaining the *duration* of status effects (buffs and debuffs) and how to best use buffs and debuffs to make them last longer? Here is a list of questions you can answer in your video (if you decide making it): 1. When does status effects' duration decrease? E.g.: Bronya's skill buff lasts for one turn, but if buffed ally already finished their turn, they still can queue their ultimate before the next unit gets their turn. This makes it so that the buff remains during their ultimate, even though they already finished their turn. My guess: This happens because the next unit didn't get to their turn yet, and ultimates aren't considered as normal turns, hence they don't decrease the duration. 2. How do status effects' duration work on enemies? E.g.: Most elites and bosses have 2-3 actions at once. Are these actions considered as one turn or multiple separate turns? Also, if I use my ultimate AFTER enemy's first action and BEFORE their second action and apply debuff, will the duration decrease after their second/third action, or will it decrease only after they start their first turn all over again? 3. How do I best use buffs and debuffs? E.g.: Should I use Asta's ult after all allies have finished their turns, or is it better to ult during desired character's turn to prolong it? Other way to say it is if I want to make the buff to last on my DPS for as long as possible, do I need to Asta ult before, during, or after DPS's turn? Alongside these questions, you can also explain the types of actions (normal turns, advance forward, FuA, Ultimate, Extra Turn) and whether they affect the duration of status effects. If the questions are difficult to understand, please, let me know. I'll try to express my questions more clearly (because they sound so difficult for some reason lmao)

You don’t need perfect relics. You don’t even need average relics. Just get the right mainstats, max levels and traces, and build a GOOD TEAM for the RIGHT SCENARIO, then you’re chilling.

I'll just give you the math from here : 2 main DPS specifically made for moc 2 mais DPS specifically made for pure fiction 1 main DPS specifically made for AS 3 universal supports 2 tanker/healers When you see this at first you'll think the math isn't mathing as much but trust the process Only one in AS since you can borrow one additional DPS from the moc or PF dpses 3 supports cuz you only need 2 teams and having somewhat of control over the buffs from rotations is good I didn't mention the type of DPS (follow up/dot/break/hyper) since with the way the game you don't want to be too limited so have fun with archetypes Invest vertically into them until you reach a point where you can clear all endgame even if it felt difficult ta first...it'll only get easier after doing multiple rotations since you'll get accustomed to using who in what -profit...or at this point start looking at the characters YOU want to get instead of needing to get...if there is another character that does almost the same as one of those 5 DPS it's your choice to replace them or not A small hint is to try to not limit yourself on archetypes and try to get something of everything or try to cover the elements you need (except the implanting BS by then it's just a free win for you) If I made a mistake correct cuz this is how i managed to clear all endgame after 6/9 months since launch

i srtaed playing during the jade release banner (after ruan mei and firefly...) since then i pulled a lot of 5 stars because i had really good luck. only to find out now that about half my characters are apparently already powercreept and not that good anymore, i have enough polls to guarantee acheron and hope i can get her weapon. but if she wont be enough to carry my account then im gonna me pissed
