Rabbi Freidman, Shalom. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your voice and wisdom. I am not a Jewish man, but you have helped me understand a Jewish perspective on the God of Abraham and grounding it in real life experience. You have been part of my journey. I think your voice is a blessing to all that would hear. Thank you.

HIS word says (roughly) it's not what goes into your mouth that makes you unholy, rather what comes out of it. as far as the pigs go....GOD allowed evil spirits to go into them...I'm good. try turkey bacon. let everything with breath praise HIM !!! I'm not JEWISH, I'm their personal shield, should it become necessary. my highest honor is to lay my life down for one of HIS children. which means check for yourself what I have said. remember HE requires mercy over sacrifice. shalom.

Rabbi Friedman! I only recently began exploring the mysteries of astrology and the Zodiac signs. To my astonished delight, as I'm listening to your lecture, I'm noticing a fascinating parallel between the story of the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai, and the role of Jupiter in Astrology!! Jupiter, the largest of the planets, rules the Zodiac signs Sagittarius and Pisces. When you describe the times before the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai, you are describing the concept of Sagittarius (a King's abundance of knowledge and generosity) with 100% accuracy. And when you describe the long-lasting effects after the giving of the Torah, all the concepts of Pisces (a Queen's abundance of fertility and emotional maturity) pop out like dolphins jumping out from the ocean's surface. And when you describe the goal of achieving Oneness, well, that's the King and Queen of Jupiter telling all the other smaller planets that we're all part of the same cycle of life and death and renewal and free will. I'm so happy I happened to listen to this particular pre-Shavuos lecture, it really resonated with me and my knowledge of Astrology and the Zodiac. Thank you. - Menachem Mendel Harrison, Missoula, Montana.

I especially liked the marriage part. Why is it so complicated today. "From one unto many and from many unto one" could mean many things as does how we try to interpret what we think we understand. Then there is what you call a marriage 😄 I think quiet a bit of people would like to be married, it sounds so nice. Now that's an anniversary. Who needs a fancy holiday when we can enjoy each other's companionship and remember how this love began or, in some cases, at the very least remember when anniversary day is. 🤪☺️

Rabbi, can you please explain the kabalah? Most of what you say is part of the explanation. There is a very bad misconception about that. Can you perhaps collobarate about it a little more? As well as of the history and how it came more available to those who really are serious to persue this spiritual relationship with our Creator?

I know G-d is with the Jews .There are a lot of things about this world that sadly break my soul, like abortions ,bad religion, and lack of fear of consequences from human cruelty .I pray to the only G-D, who told Moses to teach his ways to the whole world.

Before Sinai there was Moses riding on a donkey guided by the Shekinah/Hasheem to the Midian well where Zipporah and the Staff given by Jacob to Joseph was planted by Jethro, the Father of the Sanhedrin. Then came Sinai the 1st Torah coming down from the clouds where Moses was greeted by the choice of the Golden Calf, the Tree of Knowledge again by the men, not the women of the mixed multitudes and the family of Abraham Isaac Jacob. The Moshiach will also come in 2 stages, on a donkey seeking,His Bride in the Garden and the Staff of Moses. Then the Moshiach coming from the clouds of the twin peaked ‘Sinai’ in the land of the Garden that the Rebbe Rayatz reached March 19 1940. This will be the 3rd Torah of Redemption and the coming of the 3rd Temple. The 1st Torah was the Torah of Moses and Zipporah that was smashed. The 3rd Torah of Redemption will be the 3rd Torah brought by Moshiach’s and His Bride. The Moshiach being the living Family of Chabad birthed and nurtured from the Baal Shem Tov thru the Rebbe.

Why is fasting a thing, what is it’s importance. What is it’s significance?
@brynawaldman57904 ай бұрын
1. ALL spiritual traditions do it; not just Judaism (& not on Shavuot anyway). 2. Disconnect from the ego & the body, connect up w other things. (Connecting up w spirituality is just one aspect. Watching your own mind is another. Ever do it? It's fascinating how the mind & body can resist doing it when you're not used to it. Who is in charge; you or your appetite? It's an experiment to see who is in charge.) 3. It improves health for all kinds of reasons. (Lab rats that are intermittently starved live lots longer.). Regular fasting lowers rates of diabetes (when done right), heart problems, & cancer; the 3 biggest killers in the US.

It seems to me we have become farther from God, not closer, even religious people who follow the Torah are so worried about capitalism that the mitzvos become a rote we do with no thaught.
@CaesarRenasci4 ай бұрын
What does capitalism have to do with G-d's word? From your use of the word it is clear that you don't know what capitalism is. It I'd not about making money -- it is about the freedom to do so. And when that freedom is lost, it is the poor who suffer most and more people become poor. That happened EVERYWHERE. You can try to make money just like everything else, being ethical, kind, and charitable or unethical, unethical and greedy. The Creator is not against making money but against doing so unethically and egotistically. You should get new friends and read new books, my friend. Your food heart was manipulated by charlatans.

9:00 adams son' sacrificed meat for god tho Rabbi, you saying it wasnt allowed but it must have been. Or : God awarded him so the other son got jealous and killed his brother. But you are saying thay wasnt allowed to eat meat. So god awarded the one that did wrong by killing an animal just to see if the other brother would get jealous maybe. Thats how l see it anyway. ?
@penguinabroad4 ай бұрын
This doesn't imply that Abel's flock was for food. They could have used it for fleece. The reason it was a more valued sacrifice is that sacrificing the lamb was a literal sacrifice to the well being of Abel, he had one less lamb to breed and gain more fleece for clothing/blankets, etc. Cain sacrifice was something that would grow back, so he had not put G-d before himself in the way that Abel did. Which is sort of the point of the message of this video ironically.
@fallen666samael4 ай бұрын
@@penguinabroad mehhh killing something so nothing happens to you. Selfish. Just like in islam you sacrifice an animal for a new car so god protects you.
