Price and quality are not synonymous. There are many factors that go into setting a price point. Research and development, production costs, marketing...just to name a few. But your average consumer THINKS that higher prices equate to higher quality. Sometimes a producer will even use this falsehood to give you an impression of higher quality BY assigning a higher price alone. I needed ONE dress watch for my collection. I am retired, so I no longer wear a tie often. But I needed one watch for those occasions where I must do so. For that purpose, I picked up the Orient "Wide Day," for just under $350.00. Same manufacturer, mind you, but that wide day is probably the worst product they ever put out. It is non hacking, so you cannot set the time with precision, and the day display starts moving toward the next day at 2 AM (meaning that by the time yo wake up, it is already in the space between days and stays there all day). So I returned it, and with my returned money bought two watches...the Bambino Gen 4 with a separately ordered Alligator strap filling that "dress watch" slot I was trying to fill. Price does not equal quality. At $120, this Bambino Gen 4 is a MUCH better Orient Watch than their $350 "Wide Day."

I have many other version Bambinos . However, the version 4 with the 42 mm large case is a non starter for me and my 6 1/4 inch wrists.

Love this watch have it exact color ...im very happy with it. The band was cool but immediately replaced it with a green leather band . the only set back is non readable in the dark .
