I remember when I was 13 years old, I joined a Summer Football team with my best friend at our local High School. It was basically a sort of tryout for those that had never played, and were mostly horrible at playing the game because we knew nothing. They were trying to identify some talent for the freshman class. The coach got us in a huddle and got us to start screaming and believing that we could sack the QB, and I did! It was flag football, but I was so excited. From that point on, I believed every single word from the coach in the huddle. He could have told me to hit my best friend in the face, and I would have done it. It wasn't just because of the coach, it was the group mentality. That experience shapes me to this day. He may have been just confirming that he could legally answer without getting himself in legal trouble with his lawyer. He seemed pretty genuine in his eagerness to aid them in the investigation. We have no king, we have three co-equal branches of government...can you name them? The Constitution is the framework of our government and people elected to office are indeed to serve the people AND work under the framework of the Constitution. They do not serve Donald Trump or any other person holding office. They take an oath to protect that framework so that our county can function as a democracy not an authoritarian clown show. If someone wants the framework of your government to be changed, then there is a process to amend the Constitution and in the end 3/4 of the states have to ratify it and there is a time limit. The Donald Trumps, Margery Taylor Greens, Matt Gaetzs, and all the other worshipers, don't just get to make their own rules no matter what they think. They want King Donnie and they can't have him.

I think Trump deserves to be in prison, but believe they are doing the right thing. If it was made easy to put political opponents into prison, then Trump would still be President and the whole democratic party would be in prison.
