Vivek Ramaswamy... TRUTH, not teleprompters - No bullshit deflections, Just straight answers - My next President!!
@elliottgarner7135
@elliottgarner7135 9 ай бұрын
Really? Two weeks ago on the Bill Maher Show, he was asked if he'd take the Vice President's position; he replied "No, I don't do well as the number 2". However, he repeatedly proclaims that when he's president...So, what does that tell you? He's convinced that Trump will probably be convicted on at least two of the indictments. He also believes that the current President wouldn't stand a chance against him in a one-on-one Presidential Debate. He has his entire agenda mapped out. Yet, unless he modifies some of his conservative views, this will all be a big pipe dream.

If you listen carefully, he never gives straight answers. He gives broad statements in front of friendly audiences. What happens when he's in front of a broader audience with views that may not coincide with his views. That is when the curtain goes down and the make-up comes off. Here is my thought on Vivek... he actually wants something for his kids to be proud of. This is a better motivator than anything else for why he wants to be president and why people should vote him in. His kids are little and haven't disappointed in any way yet (wait until they are teenagers). If you look at the motivations of almost all of the other presidents, it has been money, power, ego, etc. Vivek's kids are still young enough for the differences he could make as president matter.

Even Trump talked about "Make America Great Again" but I feel like his message was too much looking backwards, like we are a mentally sick old person cutting on ourselves and addicted to our outrage and fringe beliefs. His fund - that he very recently stepped down from - is now mired in court cases. Oh! And try researching things like the draconian consequences of cutting the civil servant population of the federal government in one fell swoop by 75% and - just for kicks - the actual facts of Dred Scott , one of the most impactful decisions of our country’s history. All of that is just off the top of my head. Don’t be fooled by the slick speech of an over confident huckster. Your responsibility as a citizen is too important.

You want more? After doing just half an hour's research on Vivek Ramaswamy, I have located probable corrupt dealings in the sale of his first business - Campus Venture Network, co-founded by Travis May while they were still in Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2007 (Ramaswamy has a Bachelor of Arts degree, not helpful in many ways, particularly not in politics except when making up stories). The business was sold to a nonprofit organisation Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation in 2009 while the company was under the direction of a Mr. Carl Schramm. Carl Schramm was the president of the nonprofit organisation from 2002 until 2012, when he resigned after much concern to the manner in which he issued grants and made purchases, misappropriating funds and being, bluntly, easily bought. Although Ramaswamy has espoused a rags to riches story throughout his campaign speeches, Vivek comes from wealthy stock. His family comes from a traditional agrahara in Kerala, India, where they lived in an ancestral home which was supported by royal income - and were upper class before emigrating to the US. His father was an engineer & patent attorney for General Electric (the same company that brought you 80% of the military armaments supply contracts for the illegal Iraq war of 2003-2022), and it's no secret that Vivek is openly accused of dodging a legal battle in relation to the sale and merger of a subsidiary to his company Roivant sciences Myovant (credit: The New Republic online article). He makes a good speech, but this is more likely just his speaking ability. In university, he is quoted as referring to himself as a 'contrarian', which could be translated to slippery & argumentative. The only interesting research on his wife I have is in regard to her father Ashutosh Tiwari, a Urologist, and his patron Tony Turner were found guilty of research misconduct by Linköping University and a string of scams that he is persistent with. I have provided the findings of half an hour's research of a presidential candidate so that Americans can better make an informed decision - there is no bias nor interest otherwise. Regards, an Australian. Half an hour of research and I can locate multiple instances of corruption & false statements by the candidate and his family, as well as his wife's family. I'm sure there are American people who do the same level of research into their vote, but I don't think those people frequent social media. All you see is blind hope round here, blind hope without any assurance. Not a good look from the country with the most yeehaw bombs.

He needs more time, more experience, and more of an understanding of a broader spectrum of the American population. He may need to alter some of his far-right views to coincide with the views of a broader spectrum of people. He's a product of his environment; not everyone will go to Harvard or Yale Law School; not everyone will be worth 600 million dollars, but that doesn't make the average person an underachiever, or someone less of a human being than he is. Everyone in my family graduated college, but we're still proud middle-class decent God-fearing American citizens. We had successful careers and we placed an emphasis on education. So, he needs to temper his rhetoric somewhat so as to be in line with the average citizen; you know, the folks that vote for U.S. Presidents.

But, what happens when he is in front of a politically mixed audience? What happens when his feet are held to the fire when his views run counter to those of his audience? You can't praise the Lord and please the Devil at the same time. Also, most people are not as politically astute as they should be. That doesn't make them ignorant, it just means that currently, they're indifferent. In order to make an intelligent decision, we must see and hear Ramaswamy's views in a more politically diverse setting. Forgot about your preference for his wealth, intelligence, or nationality because those things are not prerequisites for POTUS; nor should they be. The only interesting research on his wife I have is in regard to her father Ashutosh Tiwari and his patron Tony Turner were found guilty of research misconduct by Linköping University and a string of scams that he is persistent with. I have provided the findings of half an hour's research of a presidential candidate so that Americans can better make an informed decision. Regards, an Australian. The biggest reason he holds so many campaign days is because he would be subpoenaed the moment he sat down.

Agreed. But should the U.S. government step in and make that decision for a woman. Should the Supreme Court hold dominance over what a woman chooses to do with her body? Should the Supreme Court determine what you should do with your reproductive organs? Think about it for a second.

@@SamKingLion There's a reason it's left to the states. Banning abortion would be laughably stupid for a modern country to do. If you allow abortion, the only negative effect is making you religious people upset. If you disallow abortion, now you same people have to pay for more welfare, food stamps, etc. Use your brain. Be realistic.
@SamKingLion
@SamKingLion 9 ай бұрын
@@buddy3852 I’m not religious at all buddy! In fact personally, I don’t believe in religion. My belief is founded in science and biology. I am not sure whether abortion should be banned entirely. However treating this as a “woman’s only issue” is wrong and illogical. It is a new life in the woman’s body. Yes she is the host for it but it is NOT her body. A man and a woman get together to produce a new life, and the woman is a host for that life. Whatever law is created needs to treat the baby as a separate life from the woman because that’s what it is. Also, the mother and father have equal rights to that new life and equal responsibility for it. Now with that biological fact in mind we could try and determine at what stage of development of the new life should we allow terminating it. Also, the mother and father both should have a say in determining the future of that life. My educated guess is that we may be able to determine a few weeks, maybe 6-8 weeks into a pregnancy as a timeframe for terminating the newly forming life. It may be a bit longer or shorter, but we should study the development of the new life to determine that stage so that we can have a scientifically determined approach. Honestly, I don’t think the republicans party should rely so heavily on religion, they don’t need to. They would be better of relying on science. They start to lose the younger generations when they resort to religious scripture. The liberals are not any better than the republicans, they are in fact worse, their beliefs form an experimental pseudo religion that hasn’t been tested over time. They don’t understand or apply biology or science, and grab onto semi proven scientific theories that suit their purpose. For example evolution - there is no proof that even a dog has evolved from a wolf, despite how similar they look and scientists DO NOT know how a wolf MAY have evolved into a dog, let alone their being any proof that humans evolved from apes. My scientific studies and understanding lead me to believe that we were likely created and even programmed. How it happened I don’t know, no one does. If I have to choose between the liberals and conservatives I think the conservatives approach is safer - at least they believe in a religion that’s tested over thousands of years instead of these experimental, half thought out beliefs the liberals have. However, it would be best for humanity to evolve past this, and I do feel that the conservatives can lead the way if they stick to logic and science and don’t resort to religious scripture - because the younger generations, by and large, aren’t buying that anymore.

It's amazing how wonderful it is to hear all these truths stated in such simple terms. It flows from Vivek so naturally because he speaks from the heart and when your heart is your guide you don't have to manage what you say like our current leadership class is doing. You don't have to think twice when you're honest. Lying requires much more effort because what you say is not in unison with what is in your heart. His focus is on where we need to go in the future as a country, not trying to belittle his competitors. His approach is based on deciding who we want to be in very clear terms and then to follow those principles unapologetically. People should ask themselves, "What are your values?" Who do you want to be? What do you want to support?
